I cannot stress enough how impressed I’m with this app and the integrity of the developers. Recently, I frequently get upset by apps hiding their prices, forcing subscriptions or just simply demand exorbitant prices. AnkiApp does none of that. The free version is completely able to see you through your studies if you cannot afford to buy the upgraded version. No annoying limitations, no ads!! I however decided to buy the upgrade and am enjoying it very much so. When I saw the price for the upgrade stating £9 something per year, I almost went an delete the app there and then. I just hate the idea of subscriptions that much. They just remind me of some sneaky loans waiting to catch you off card and trick you some ways. Then I saw there was a £20 something lifelong purchase and I thought straight away, YES, that’s what I’m talking about. Clear pricing, reasonable offer and a great service. I thought the amount was very fair for all the hard work and thought put into this little app, and so I paid immediately. For the record though, Anki is a lot more powerful than it first appears to be. I wasn’t even aware of the amazing functionalities it hides before the purchase, so imagine my shock and amazement finding it out after the purchase, that just made me feel I really got a great bargain. Anki, you have all my support, please keep up the great work!!

I can't believe I've been using a knockoff for 6 years. Turns out this was never actual Anki, not the same as the one I'd been using on PC, but this one is also really good, so good I never questioned if it was legit or not. You get 100 free reviews a day which is good enough for me, so I haven't upgraded, but the lifetime upgrade is a fair price especially on sale. I'm incredibly surprised,but I honestly have to give this 5 stars. It's a good app. I've used it for a long time and it is successful for improving memory. It might not have the same performance statistics that the real app includes, but I wouldn't necessarily use them anyway.
Encountering Bugs

Been using the app for about 6 months on and off, just using free version, and have really enjoyed the easy accessibility and learning of content using flashcards (even if it is just 100 a day). It has become part of my daily routine, and 20 minutes a day of flashcards everyday is building up nicely. However, after downloading a 4th deck, it was only showing me about 50 out of the 250 in the deck, and wouldn’t be showing me any previously failed cards, even if I selected then specifically for review. After a week this bug seemed to be patched, however then I could no longer make any of these failed cards not be classed as ‘failed’ even though I’ve clicked ‘easy’ every time on them. Is there anything I’m doing wrong, which I really hope I am doing, or is it something on the apps end (which I reluctantly think it is). This has really frustrated me as I have really enjoyed this app, and I may have to consider to stop using this app, if this is a limiting feature of free or just a bug anyway. If there is anything I can do to fix this (without buying premium) please let me know

How this app even has positive reviews I don’t know. It’s ok to create premium features for apps but when you make it only usable for people who pay after having a free version for almost 2 years, that’s just disgusting. You clearly only care about money and to have people pay so much just to create flash cards is stupid, there is nothing there worth paying for, it was a good app, basic but good for studying until you made it a cash grab, hours of work and time spent on making the cards and studying is gone to waste just because of new updates preventing me from reviewing my OWN cards, it’s not like they make it and think it is so high quality that people should be paying for it, no I make them myself and can’t even look at them without paying £24 each year, and for what?? The app is not even that good, so many bugs and it keeps crashing, the customisation of cards isn’t as good as it used to be either and it’s way more complicated and time consuming. Honestly, a joke!! I wish I could give you less than 1 star because it’s just not a useable app anymore.
- Added a new full-screen card editor for mobile with improvements to mobile editing for rich text, code, fill-in-the-blank, drawing, media, and Japanese fields, including easier furigana override entry. Go to the Setting screen to enable

- CSV imports now default the new deck name from the selected file name and handle special characters in deck titles more reliably
- Custom deck template edits are now labeled as custom instead of keeping the original preset name
- Fixed the command bar so it only opens for the active screen
