If you want to have fully control under your iPhone camera then this is app what you really need. This app allows you to used maximum of your iPhone camera and you can shoot on manual settings and get photos in RAW format. When you travel or you see something really interesting and you want to make a photo you don't have always your camera with you but you have always iphone with you. With the original app you can shoot nice photos but with pro cam they're incredible. I just love it because you can do great photos and you can edit them straight away in your smartphone in few seconds. I recommend you keep same free space in your memory because some of raw photos are huge and videos as well compared to original from iphone camera app
Replaces the standard app for photo professionals on iPhone XS
Ben Morse
The iPhone XS does a lot of image processing and tweaking in the standard app - a colour balance here, an HDR there - the end result is to give you the image that most people would want. But for those who want the control over the tech - for portrait and general lens, there’s ProCam. ISO, shutter speed and colour balance are all controllable if you want to - but even if you don’t, the overly processed look of the standard app isn’t there. Add in RAW and TIFF shooting and you’ve got a bargain priced winner of a camera app.
A Major Disappointment ...
Steven Docker
A major disappointment for this photography amateur. I am using a 2020 iPad pro 12.9 and while there are lots of good points there are also major omissions.Firstly the good points: You have lots of manual control over exposure, focus, white balance, ISO settings etc, plus, once you have taken a phootograph there are plenty of filters you can use to get the picture/effects you want. You can also set exposure bracketing for photos that might be otherwise difficult to capture with the standard Apple camera app.Now the not-so-good points. Look as I might I cannot find the HDR settings, so I’m guessing they don’t exist on the iPad version of this app. You also do not have any access to use the ultra-wide-angle lens, so zoom ratios of less than 1X are just not available. By contrast the standard Apple camera app on the iPad can reduce the zoom level to 0.5X, so if you want to take a wide angle landscape with Procam 7 ... don’t bother, you can’t. There is a dedicated night mode but comparing it to just taking a picture with the standard Apple camera app shows no difference at all irrespective of how you vary the exposure controls within Procam 7. The inclusion of a dedicated night mode was a big selling point for me in buying Procam 7 but it is literally no better than the app it seeks to replace. If you go through the tutorials you will see that they are all iPhone based and some of the instructions on how to do certain things are either different on an iPad, or, they just don’t work / are not available.Summary - a lame duck app. The only good point for me was the addition of some good editing options and filters. However you can easily add better editing options and filters to the standard Apple photos app by purchasing something like Pixelmator Photo (which integrates seamlessly with the Apple photos app).
Unreliable!

Recorded a concert, had it out for 1 hour, had done a test prior, followed the instructions to have everything closed on my IPhone and restart (which I did), but for some reason, it only saved 2 minutes.I had plenty of storage available, 20gigs, and I was constantly looking at the time going up on the recording and didn’t spot any warning that something bad was going to happen.Clicked save, and only a small portion of the video was recorded and it looks liked I’ve lost that priceless recording forever. I am thoroughly disappointed in this app, especially because this is a new phone, and I even had my phone plugged in the whole time so it had plenty of juice to work.
