Easy to use and really fun! Would recommend this app. It’s lovely looking at your pictures and home videos on a TV screen and it works very well. The only issue I found is that sometimes the video pics are horizontal instead of vertical, something to do with the resolution of the videos. Generally most of the videos on my iPhone work well so overall a really good app.

I’d like to be able to say this was good, the idea is good but it’s not working correctly. I can display one of my pictures on my smart tv screen, but when I change to another picture it will only display the first picture. After trying the difficult to understand controls, the whole thing crashed, after displaying various adverts. There’s no proper instructions and it’s not obvious how it works. Try harderDeveloper thinks I should try harder to find the help. It doesn’t explain how to fix the problem. I paid for the ad-free version and I thought it was working, but after a short time testing it on pictures and videos it stopped working again.

This was about the sixth app I tried to cast my photos from my I phone onto my Samsung tv to show my partially sighted mother-in-law the holiday snaps. It worked. Dead easy. The free version has ads periodically and makes you wait 25 secs every so often, but the payment for photos is only 99p so that doesn’t seem much given someone has built an app that works. Highly recommend!

Having downloaded the free TVAssist app, which seemed good, I paid for the full version. I used the app for a good while and everything worked fine, no problems and I was very pleased with it. Then, inexplicably, the app stopped working in that it wouldn’t link up with my TV, the same TV that I was using originally, no device or wifi server changed, but I now cannot get the app to work. I have contacted the developer but no response. Hence, I am very disappointed.
