Keeps track of my finances very well, scheduled transactions are the key feature from my PoV. Have used this for years and it copes with a lot of data very well. I have hit an issue recently where I was in Mountain Time before it switched off summer time having come from GMT after it switched and had a scheduled transaction go through. This had two undesirable side effects. First my scheduled transactions moved from the 1st of the month to the 28th, 29th and 30th of the previous month seemingly randomly but probably based on the transaction time. Secondly some of those transactions re-entered themselves for every month of the current year.On returning to GMT the scheduled transactions went back to the 1st so no problem there. I deleted the duplicate transactions and we’re back to normal so all good.Other than this glitch the software has managed my finances for years and done it very well. Thanks.

I decided to try Money Pro on my iPhone and MacBook to replace iBank (Banktivity) which I had used for years but had gone to a subscription model. I wanted to pay one-off; sync my phone/ipad/laptop and I’m not interested in online downloads from my financial institutions. So I don’t need a gold subscription. I loaded today’s balances on about 20 accounts and set up my scheduled payments in an hour or two. Naming conventions are a bit different but after a few days my calendar and balances are all working as I hoped; and syncing via iCloud is very good too. That was the killer reason for dumping iBank.I contacted support once as I feared I had started the ‘pro’ syncing which requires a subscription. Got a friendly reassuring reply after a few hours pointing me to my Apple subscriptions as the best way of checking.So my advice after a few days is - if you are considering this for personal finances on your Mac/iphone - do it. There aren’t too many option but this is good in my opinion.

Although purchased on iPad, costs another £12 to use on Windows. I'd like the ability to import QIF format as well. Also, when importing CSV with separate columns for debit/credit amounts, you can't change a credit to income, it seems you have to duplicate and delete the original. Another useful ability would be to be able to select multiple transactions to categorise after importing rather than doing one transaction at a time, one by one. Otherwise, downloading is fine. With iOS 13, when you download files on your iPad, they get saved in your download folder on the device itself. You can simply copy/move them from there to the MoneyPro folder for importing via the Files app rather than follow the instructions on the web which says to use iTunes. Syncing across from iPad to iPhone doesn't seem possible unless you sync through Money Pro. Can't see how to do that across iCloud as files seem to be stored locally on the device. Apart from those quirks, looks like I can bin off Microsoft Money and finally get rid of the need for a laptop.

I started off with Money after using Microsoft Money for so long. I loved Money but decided after quit a while to upgrade to Money Pro. It does all that I need to keep track of what I spend and what bills need to be paid. It was easy to transfer from Money to Money Pro.I use £ but I also have a PrePaid currency card for AUD. It was easy to add to the Assets in AUDs. So easy to track what I spend there as well. i worked out a way that works for me by adding an account and transferring between.Had a small problem recently but excellent support and all quickly resolved.
