Hello Weather gives you beautiful, trustworthy forecasts powered by the best weather data on Earth. With hyperlocal real-time updates and a joyful design that’s easy to read at a glance, you’ll always be prepared for anything coming your way.
Five reasons why you’ll love planning your day with Hello Weather...
1. All the info you need is right in your face.
Our gorgeous, information-rich design shows you everything that matters in one simple screen. You’ll see the current conditions and future forecasts in an instant.
2. Simple on the surface. Details one tap away.
Sometimes you need to dig deeper. Is it going to be windy enough to fly a kite today? When’s the best time to go? Just tap on the wind card (or any of our 12 data points) and you’ll see a super friendly specialized chart showing what’s what.
3. You’ll get predictions you can trust.
Hello Weather is powered by the world’s best data sources, like Apple Weather, AccuWeather, Foreca, and The Weather Company. Pick the provider that's best in your area, or switch back and forth to compare. (Upgrade required.)
4. You don’t need to be a weather expert.
What does barometric pressure mean? Is the dewpoint good or bad? We translated those esoteric stats into human words, so you’ll know how it really feels outside.
5. It’ll make you smile.
We filled the app with tons of thoughtful little touches to brighten your day. You’ll love the beautiful color themes, automatic night mode, and sweet secret extras.
And that's not all…
• It works everywhere, from your phone to your wrist.
Hello Weather is great on the iPhone or iPad, and when you’re on the go, our excellent widgets, notifications, and Apple Watch companion app will keep you updated proactively.
• Radar’s built right in.
When there's a storm front ahead, we've got your back. Our powerful radar tab shows you exactly what's headed your way.
• Super duper customizable.
Tune your app’s layout and appearance to your heart's content. Pick custom icon sets, themes, charts, data points, and tweak fiddly details if you want. It looks great in dark mode, too!
• Made with care by a tiny indie company.
We pour a lot of love into our app, and we take great care of our customers. We're always just an email away, and we're staunch defenders of your privacy.

Thanks so much for trying Hello Weather! We hope you like it.
Got this because it has a small footprint, unlike some bloated weather apps. Thus far it has been pretty accurate and seeing all the info in one screen makes it easy to digest. We all want different things from our weather apps it would appear - I want simplicity, no ads, and small but worth using. This ticks all the boxes. If I want wind gusts I’ll check the Met Office on line. My only issue is that it shows a “between” wind speed ie between two figures. You could argue that a guess might be as effective but I can live with the variable. Besides a glance out of the window conveys the probable speed. Overall it works well.
UV Index soon please...

I will keep this review short & sweet which is very unlike me! 😂 After what I decided was an adequate length of time to appraise what promised to be a very good app, my opinion is 100% positive regarding how good it is and it has now become my go to weather app on my iPhone 11 and Apple Watch 5 44mm Cellular, it looks great on my watch’s screen! But one little niggle has stopped me from awarding it 5 stars, no UV Index forecast which means I have to rely on another source of daily UV Index Index information. Please excuse me if that is already there and I haven’t found it yet but if it isn’t please add it soon in an update. I’ll end by saying again how much I enjoy using this fantastic app and how good I think it’s UI is... I’ve put a tip in your jar, one that made the app smile! 😂
No bad for a first attempt

Update March 2017. Latest update much better. Still one or two problems with the "this week" view. Tapping anywhere fives a word description, but not dates etc. Ans STILL no estimates of actual amounts of rain, only percentage expectation.-----------------------------Update. See we now have Celsius, but why no way to choose thermometer and distance separately ? I want Celsius/miles, NOT Fahrenheit/miles nor Celsius/km.-----------------------------But why is there no choice for Fahrenheit or Celsius display ?Would have thought that was a simple thing to provide - and certainly needed by me.Ah, of course. More difficult to display negative numbers ?Also percentage rainfall expectation is OK, but what about the actual estimated amount ?---------‒-----------Update October 2025Brilliant update. So much more detail. Lots of graphs, particularly if using Ach weather as your course provider.I can now say, without reservation, this isnow probably one of the bet whether app.
Developer Response
We added even more options for you, so perhaps you can find just the combination you're looking for!
Genuinely useful weather forecasts

I’ve been using this weather app for a long time now and am a fully paid-up subscriber. The way it shows the weather in a simple to understand, glanceable way is worth every penny. Here in the UK the weather basically consists of three questions “Will it rain?”, “Will I burn?”, “Is it shorts or trousers today?”. This app provides the answer to those three questions immediately with its beautifully rendered graphics.
- Smaller tuneups and bug fixes.
