This app is generally fantastic and great value too which is why I have had a Pro subscription for years. The app asks for Feedback (in a good way, no interrupting) though it is actually a request for a review, so here we are! Regarding the Focus Inbox. This is a fantastic feature, but it is nearly pointless when I can’t default to viewing Focus Inbox. I never remember to check it, so important emails still get lost among the endless marketing messages - so I need the Gmail app as well. The iOS interactive widget is great, but I don’t need to know about some marketing message more than something in the Focus Inbox.

This was the best email aggregator app I found last time I evaluated 3 or 4 years ago (which is damning with the faintest of praise as they are ALL terrible in one way or another). I can happily live with the constant "buy me" popup, and I can JUST ABOUT live with having to completely re-enter all my Microsoft email details every ******* month - what I CAN'T live with is not being able to re-enter ANY of my various disabled outlook / hotmail details at all after a whole week of trying, MANY times over.... and I've tried entering them all as Exchange accounts too - still don't work.Well I've had enough now. Time to uninstall ANOTHER failed aggregator app, use the ugly as sin Apple app (which at least ******* works I suppose) as a stopgap, and evaluate the other usual suspects in the vain hope one of them has been made vaguely decent since the last time I wasted an hour of my life trying it out...Seriously: will SOMEBODY PLEASE make ONE decent email app? I'm at the stage where I would HAPPILY pay the 40 quid a year Airmail keeps trying to grift off me for something that looks good, works smoothly, AND can remember all my email accounts' credentials for longer than a few days at a time...

I tried about eight of the top email clients and experience limitations with all of them for example either they weren't available for both iOS and macOS or they had a clunky interface or key features were only available in premium but then I tried and Mail and it's cross platform and rules you set up sync via iCloud and the free version has everything you need and the only thing you have to deal with is a regular pop-up about premium that takes one tap to close so I'm really pleased with it.Update: I can no longer recommend this app after using it for about 10 days because it has some terrible bugs in it. for example currently it saves an email that you compose and send in one go as a draft every time. it also shows all emails twice in Smart folders and as far as I can tell at one point sent someone a draft email that I prepared and deliberately saved to finish writing later. if you have multiple Gmail accounts I recommend using the Gmail app instead it's free and has all the same features and that way any filters you define available both through web browser and through the Gmail app.
