I have been using InShot for a long time now and I can honestly say it is completely awesome! They are consistently adding new features and are updating their libraries of transition, filter and other effects. InShot is free to use, with a variety of features already available to non-paying users. Whereas I feel many editing apps for mobile devices try to make you feel limited in terms of what you can do without paying money, when using InShot without a subscription, you still have access to a good variety of text fonts, transition effects etc. so you do not feel limited without a subscription. I was able to get by perfectly fine as a free user without feeling bombarded with “BUY OUR SUBSCRIPTION” pop ups every time I wanted to do something. But at the same time, buying the subscription grants you access to a whole lot more stickers, fonts etc. so I definitely encourage this as someone who purchased a lifetime pro subscription in 2019. I also want to praise the team for always having listened to suggestions and have been implementing them very well! In the past I suggested that green screen and Picture in Picture options would be beneficial to me, and within a couple of months of submitting my suggestions they had implemented it. The app is so well-made and simple to use and I have no complaints about the app at all. My only suggestion would be one that I have had for a long time, which would be to create a desktop app. It would be helpful as these days a lot of my editing that involves a lot of game recordings end up being edited on Premiere Pro instead as it’s impossible for me to transfer the gigabytes of video footage from my PC to my phone just to get it edited, but other than this, I have no suggestions! Keep up the good work! 👍

I’ve been using InShot for a while now and, overall, it’s a solid app for basic video editing. The interface is user-friendly, and I appreciate how easy it is to create and share videos with the built-in features. The range of editing tools, like trimming, transitions, and adding text or music, is great for beginners and those who want a quick and efficient editing process.That being said, there are a few areas where the app could use some improvements. First, the export quality, especially in higher resolutions, could be better. I’ve noticed that sometimes videos lose a bit of sharpness or detail when exported in 1080p. While InShot is fantastic for basic edits, I find it lacking in more advanced features. For example, it would be great to see options like multi-track audio or more control over color grading to make the app more versatile.Another downside is that the free version includes ads, and the watermark can be a bit of a dealbreaker for those trying to make professional-quality videos. It would be nice to have a clearer way to remove these without needing to upgrade. Lastly, stability can be an issue. The app occasionally crashes when working on larger projects or with multiple layers, which can be frustrating.Overall, InShot is great for quick edits, especially if you're just starting out or need to make a video on the go. I just hope they continue to improve the app with more advanced tools and bug fixes.

Look, its finally time I've done a review for this app. I've had it for a year now and it's soo good! So here's how it started. I asked my dad if i could be a YTber and he said he'll think abt it (still thinking now), so i was like "I'm going to make a video like YTber to show what i would post" so i went onto the app and it was successful! It has free stuff and good quality! and it has materials that you can use for example clips of ppl and backgrounds! You can record (voice), extract audio (which i LOVE doing) and more! You can get InShot pro but you don't have to cuz the free ver. is better and if you use text, you can get AI to read it and if its free theres two options which is okay because it doesn't really matter abt the voice of the AI, its abt the quality! yours truly, im stuck with this *edit* look, i really made this lovely review for you but what you did was so brutal and backstabbing im deleting it. might as well delete all my drafts. I went on inshot to save a song i made when suddenly it said i got one draft left, and guess what? the song: GONE. I put all my hard work in it, staying on beat, rapping harmonising even you would actually like it if you weren't a heartless app who deletes drafts that i didn't get to save. the worst thing is it was over night and there was no warning about "sorry since you have low storage we have to delete the drafts in 24 hrs pls delete quicky before 1 stupid meaningless draft is left" it just did it. im literally crying rn cuz this was the best app ive used for editing and you do this. your #1 hater, im stuck with this.

Hello, the loss of drafts may be due to a memory issue, or the original files used in the draft being deleted or moved, including automatic uploads to iCloud or other cloud storage services. Best video editor for mobile

I have been using this app now for nearly 4 years and it’s near perfect. It’s a great alternative for a pc video editor and while you can have it for free, you’ll have a watermark. My recommendation is to pay to remove for the watermark as its a one time purchase and is cheap. There are other things to buy like filters and specific stickers but they’re only optional and they aren’t something you need really. My only critique really is that I really wish there was a way to make green screens and such. If it would be implemented some time in the future this app would be a perfect 5 stars in my book (so long as this feature would be free). In the rare case that the developers see this, I would like to say that for the most part I am very happy with your product and I hope you further improve the app in the future! While this review has now turned into rambling, I would like to ask one more thing, could this app one day be released on pc? If this was ever done, could you possibly make it so in app purchases can be transferred to the pc version? Thank you for reading!
