How do I get music files to play outside of the app?
It took me ages to learn how to add music files from outside of the device into the device - but how to get them to play in other apps?
I thought I was adding music files to the device, but it turned out that I was adding them to the iPad! I managed to transfer them into the iDisk itself, but don’t know how to make the files I added play in music apps I have on my iPad - including djay - I need to be able to play music without connecting to other devices like an external HDD!
Decent
It’s good but it could be better. Would love an option to organise photos into files on the external drive to make access/finding them easier. The app tends to freeze and/or crash quite a bit so I recommend looking into that and sometimes the transfer just isn’t progressing or starting at all. Could benefit with a pause transfer option maybe or a way to reload/restart it.
Intermittent
I found this a bit clunky but worked okay to backup photos. Saving files was another matter. I wanted to transfer 5 files for printing and it took me about 12 efforts to get all the files transferred. The only way it would work was to transfer a file then unplug and start again for the next and even that failed many times.
