Frustrating

This app has so much potential but is so frustratingly bad and poor to use! Searching for “Paris” gives a set of random locations, many things with no relevance. Why do searches also bring up garages, repair shops etc etc?! Incredibly clunky, a real shame as the recommendations angle is so good

Misleading

Had to give them a phone number. Then they wanted a picture. Only once you’ve uploaded this information do they then say that you’re on a waiting list to join. Maybe if this grows into a big thing, people won’t mind being on a waiting list but I’m not happy about sharing my data with these people to only then find out I’ve got to wait. I’ll go back to looking at the Good Food Guide for restaurant recommendations.

Hi there

This app is still in beta, which means it is pre release and still under construction. This means it cannot just be downloaded and used right away as we are testing it with a small community of people, getting it ready for general release. Apologies if you were expecting to use the app right away. If you would still like to use the app as one of our testers, then please email me mike@jacapo.co.uk and we'll send you an invite code. Or if you'd like us to remove your information from the platform we'd be happy to do this too.

Really looking forward to using this app

Absolutely love the thinking behind this new app and I for one can’t wait to start using it - giving the opportunity this could be revolutionary for fellow foodies who appreciate clear, honest and well guided reviews. I have often found myself in a new city, desperate to find a good outlet providing great hospitality - its almost impossible to find unbiased reviews and direction. This is project that is just launching as such there will be a few teething issues and obstacles to overcome before it gets to where it needs to be. Surely its better for all to support and encourage at this stage so it can flourish quickly.
