Ratings and Reviews
Good but room for improvment
For a free dictionary this is pretty neat, however it does fail with recognising several common phrases yet I am thankful for the instructions on how to access other key boards.
The phrase problem seems to be triggered by entering a space but this may just be an issue for me. Either way it's worth noting.
If it wasn't for the one gripe this would be 5 stars. It's better than many other free dictionaries.
Stop forcing us to download your new app
I’ve been using this app for years, and the developer has released a new version as an entirely new app. Except, the separate version is an advertisement bloated scam to force you into buying their £9.99 a year service.
If you want to develop a separate app, that’s fine. But please don’t put a pop-up in this app every time I load it up to try and force me to buy your new app.
The most useful app I have
Very quick and easy to use which is perfect for the times when you need to know a word in the middle of a conversation. Occasionally crashes but that could be down to me still using an iPhone 3GS! Would recommend to anyone going to Japan, learning Japanese or english or living in Japan.
