Learn to Drive with RED 4+

Passed my theory yesterday solely because of this app. It’s convenient and clear and informative . It’s extremely helpful with the explanations instead of just correct or incorrect answers .
To anyone using the app I suggest screenshotting the correct answer and explanation at the end if you got it wrong and adding them to a blank page and revising them a bit more , that helped me a lot .
App developers if you could put in a ‘got wrong previously’ section with all the mistakes you’ve made in the past quizzes/ mock tests that would make it a bit easier . Amazing app none the less !!

It took me sometime to book a block lesson and the instructor was all booked but, the instructor changed the date/time without my knowledge, even though Red ask for their fee upfront.
I got a second instructor who was a hot head and would bombard me with instruction whilst shouting. He lost it in the car and he told me he couldn’t learn me. This was after only 3 hours of driving. He lost it in the car and said he couldn’t learn me. I think an amount of power went to his head and forgot I was a learner . I’m not really impressed with the partime instructors Red hire, they’re priorities are else where, then they lose it when they get bored of the progress. However, nobody should be screamed at and as they cancelled me then, it was their personality that got in the way of the instruction and not my ability. being as I hadn’t been in a car for decades and my last instructor never used violent actions like hitting the dash board whilst screaming at me. No patients, just a hot head grabbing money .

I recommend! The instructions are clear and you get excited to learn about each “section” really good.

Update: I’ve used this app for a month now and unfortunately it stopped working completely the other day. I couldn’t log in. I changed my password, deleted the app, restarted my phone etc but still couldn’t log in (on my phone, laptop or computer). I was then told by the app to start a free trial to use the app in spite of me having a profile already and making a lot of progress (nearly 100% on all sections).

Anyway, as this happened over the bank hol weekend and I was impatient (offices were closed) I deleted the app and paid for the The Official DVSA Theory Test Kit and it is far better and reliable.

It is better because you study the information you also click on, it adds a seriousness to the app the Red app fails to emphasise.

Anyways, it’s a shame but that’s life!
