Great for people who are addicted to learning

This app has a great variety of audio courses one can listen to on daily commute or for a few extra minutes here and there. Perfect if you don’t want to stop learning but cannot reserve time for reading books.

Misleading pricing

I’m a UK based reviewer. I downloaded listenable thinking some content would be free, with some paid for. Turns out the only free content is a trial. Fair enough, not for me thanks. But then listenable sent me an email with a deal on pricing but it was in US $, but when you go on the app the deal doesn’t appear in the UK. When I worked out the exchange rate, you pay more in the UK than the US it seems.

Not gonna bother paying for content from people who ‘create’ lessons, when I’ve no idea if they know what they’re talking about. It doesn’t inspire confidence when one bio of these people says ‘I’m no expert, I just live to make peoples lives better’. Why would I pay to listen to people if they aren’t experts on their topics?
