Workshop - Learn New Skills 4+

I have found it easy to navigate the ipad version of the app. It was annoying to have to mark a session as complete before you can watch the next session. I don't have a food processor so wanted to watch module 2 for the method by hand so had to pretend to complete the first one which I hoped to go back to in a couple of weeks. The tutor, Annie, came across well and put lots of interesting and useful information in as she went along, but in an easy to follow way. Happy to recommend the Hollandaise Sauce course to you.

I am using the Workshop app to do Leiths Essential cooking course - generally the app is really great and opened up a new way of learning to me without having to leave my home / kitchen! My only recommendations would be: 1) for the app to remember where you were last up to upon leaving and re-entering the app and play videos from there (i.e. for the cooking course I tend to watch the video the whole way through first before cooking alongside - this would be useful as when cooking I sometimes come out of the videos to check the recipe on the app and then upon re-entry I have to retap through the videos to find where I am up to (after already having watched the video through it will always open on the last slide on re-entry)). 2) make it easier to go between different series of videos in a session - i.e. an individual session is structured in multiple series of videos (for one dish there may be a series for prepping veg, one for prepping meat, another for cooking meat etc). It would be useful if you could swipe onto the last video on the previous series without having to go back to the beginning of the previous series and then tap through to the end - this would be particularly useful in time sensitive cooking (i.e. if you wanted to recheck how long you should fry something for!). If these changes could be made it would make for a really brilliant app!

Good app but needs improving and fine tuning. Sometimes crashes when I am trying to quickly forward through different steps to get to the video I want to get to. I would love a bookmark facility to get to certain stages quickly as like other users, I will watch all the videos for a lesson and then go back and forward during my cooking and learning.
I would love voice control to move around as I often have wet or doughy hands.
I find the app difficult to use on the iPhone but better on an iPad with the larger screen. I would like to use the app via a browser on my laptop too to benefit from a larger screen.
I would like better integration between using the app on the phone, iPad and via a laptop browser.
