I don’t mind the adds but your app is becoming difficult to use as the pop up and often can’t be cancelled forcing a browser to open. Often I have to kill the app and start again Also I have already given a vote and now as I’m trying g to use it in a regular basis it keeps asking for a review. Once is enough
The ads make this unusable

It’s fine to have ads but the ones that pop up and make the app unusable for 30seconds really make it useless. I can’t quickly check my app because I know I’ll have to watch an ad before I can see whether I need to run for a bus or not.Also I do think this app is needlessly complicated compared to the old version. Just too many words on the screen when really it should be a simple place to check buses. I think the UI is really ugly.I mean I’ll be fair to it and say it’s pretty accurate so it’s still a useful app in many ways I’ll just always go for Citymapper instead and deal with slightly less accurate results if it means I won’t have to watch an ad everytime.
The Bus Checker App that thought it was an Advert

Want to see when your bus is coming? No you don’t, what you need is an advert! Do you want to reach your saved bus routes? Well dig deep because what you really need is a great big map - and an advert. The actual job of a bus checker app is now effectively hidden, taking multiple taps and scrolls to get at information that using a ‘bus checker’ app you think would be right there for you to use. When technology is used in this way to primarily drive adverts it’s a crying shame. Shame that the app developers don’t seem to possess, or else they wouldn’t put out crap like this. Were you going for gold at the Epic Fail prize?
Ads destroyed the app

I used this app for so many years without any issues. The ad banner at the bottom was always there but unobtrusive. Now the developer decided to slap an ad video when you open the app, which is frankly not good form. When you need the app you need it at the time and don’t want to be forced to watch some ad.I then realised that there is TfL Go, which is a free, ad-free, app made by TfL itself. That renders this app completely pointless. Funny thing is - I would never had noticed TfL go existed hadn’t the developer got greedy with these ad videos. Well, goodbye and best of luck.
