This app is great and super helpful!!! The reason we give four and a half is because sometimes it doesn’t work but that might be due to wi fi. I use it every day more than 4 times a day and don’t know what we’d do with out it. Definitively extremely helpful if you travel a lot, - also it has journey planner which is where you can type where your going To and from and it will tell you the quickest routes which is also helpful if you do not know the area. In addition, normally you have to look it up on the internet which can be bad if you have no wi fi whereas you can look on this app instead. 100% recommend to anyone. 🤩

As a blind person it has always been so difficult to find the right bus stop, to find out when the bus is due and then which of the many buses is the right one. Then of course knowing where to get off was the other problem. Thanks to this amazing and fully accessible to voice-over app I no longer have any difficulties at all. I know exactly howlong my bus is going to be, and even where it is currently. I know which order the buses come to any particular bus stop I can even find out how long my journey is likely to take on a bus I've never used before. Thank you for making my life just so much easier.This was the review I had originally written some years ago and for some reason never got sent. I would not write the same review now. I find that too often I can't find out when my buses are due because the in progress wheel just keeps going round and round and round. I have plenty of data and I have a network signal but the app will not tell me when my buses are coming. I have the latest version. My phone and the app are both fully updated. It's also really frustrating that regularly the app turns itself onto the new app layout which is not very good for VoiceOver and not what I want. I then have to go to more, and scroll until I find use new app layout which I have to turn off again. However it repeatedly changes all by itself! I don't understand why the app is not working as well as it used to but it certainly isn't. if I was to rate the stars now I would probably give it three at most.

I rate this app two stars because coming back from school is a nightmare. I have to take two buses. Rarely, this app is on time. My school finishes at 15:20 and the bus comes at 15:29 which gives me nine minutes to go to my locker, get out of my busy school and walk to the bus stop. The day that we finished 10 minutes early, I rushed to get to the bus stop but before I left school, I checked this app. It said that the bus was coming in 25 minutes so I stayed outside of school and sat down with my friend who’s mum was going to pick her up in 45 mins. I realised that I had plenty of time so I waited and talked with her. I set a 13 minutes alarm so that it gives me 12 minutes to get to the bus stop with a lot of time. However, when that alarm went, the bus had 1 minute till due. I ran but due to me holding my saxophone, I didn’t get there in time. I had to wait another 30 minutes for the next bus which is terrible due to it being a stormy day and it was hailing and the bus stop didn’t have a shelter. That was only my first bus. My second bus was coming in “13 minutes” after I got onto my first bus. The time from my first bus getting to my second bus stop is around a 5 minute drive but a 25 minute walk due to it being on the road side so I thought that I would make it in time. As soon as I got to the second bus stop, my bus was there but the rude bus driver drove off. Again, I had to wait for ages. This entirely was this apps fault and if it was on time, it wouldn’t have taken 2 hours to get home on a 30 minute route. This explains my annoyance and why it has two stars. It is worth one but I’m being nice. 🤔😶

There are some people clearly putting a lot of time and effort into this application but it is very annoying to use. For example if there’s a bus due it doesn’t tell you when the next bus will be so if you are at home realising that you’re not gonna make that bus it doesn’t tell you when the next bus is unless you go to the timetable. There are so many different screens that you always seem to be on the wrong one. The application over populate with information which is not useful. For many people the most important information is how many minutes is it until the next bus so they know what time they need to leave home in the morning. That is whether they’ve just missed Abbas or when the next one is going to come. There needs to be some way of making this a priority screen so this is what is saying almost like a countdown till your bus so that you can get your things organised and be ready on time to get out the door to match the bus.
