Description
LoopStation turns your device into a musical instrument. Record your own sounds / voice and combine them into one big symphony with this looper.
Do what you would want to do with a real physical loop pedal. Make your own music by beatboxing, singing or by playing around with your instruments!
Start this looper by recording the basetrack or start up the metronome to help you with timing. Every next recording will be an overdub of the basetrack. Add reverb, change volume, adjust the position... it's all possible! When you are done, make a single track of your loop by recording a session. Then share this session with all your friends and fellow musicians by sharing it with the other apps you have on your phone (Facebook, WhatsApp, SoundCloud, Mail, etc...).
In order to prevent the app from re-recording itself, It is VERY IMPORTANT to use headphones to keep the recordings clean.
Features:
- Record synced tracks (overdub)
- Control volume per loop
- Save/Load recordings
- Metronome
Premium
- Shift timing of each individual loop
- Merge tracks
- Change playback speed
- Add reverb
- Session recording
- Export sessions to your other apps; Facebook, WhatsApp, SoundCloud, Mail, etc...
Let me know if you have any problems or feature requests!
With thanks to Unity!

Ratings and Reviews
Potential to be a great app but too many faults
This app is great when you come up with a loop or song idea. I really found it great to use. The only problem is there are so many faults when you go to save the work you’ve done. It is so inconsistent with what it will save. Some songs just fail to save.
Great for beginners
This app gives you the basic tools to make a simple loop. You can use it as a backing track while you play your instrument or sing over it. My favourite feature is that if in one part of a/your song is only slightly different to the other you can have different size loops so you can have, one clap per beat then the next half can be two claps per beat ( as an example ). What's also great is if a song has two of the same instruments and you have no one to play with you, you can loop the most basic one then you play over it with the second one ( or if you can play multiple instruments/ sing you can use the same idea)
Although this app isn't what I would use if I was a pro or very advanced, as there isn't a whole lot, but it is very good considering it's free. (There is in app purchases where you can get more tools which, I assume, will fit the purposes of pros and advanced musicians, but I haven't used it as I only want to make some basic loops)
All things considered this is a great app, and the only thing I would change is to be able to edit the over laps as you can edit the original loop, but so far it hasn't been a major problem.
Not good on iPhone
Screen severely clipped on iPhone, can’t read the initial instructions properly. Lined up the clicks ok but then all that is visible is the redo button.
