Description

Our latest creation, Battleheart 2, is now available! We hope our fans will check it out!

Lost Frontier is a turn-based strategy game, brought to you from the creators of the Battleheart and Zombieville series'. In a fantasy-western setting consumed by steam-punk technology and the supernatural, can you survive with just your wit and a six-gun at your side?

Features:

• Story Mode - Play through 24 chapters that introduce you to the gameplay, characters, and world of Lost Frontier.

• Challenge Mode - once you've mastered the mechanics, put your knowledge to the test in a series of 20 demanding missions.

• 20 Unique Unit types - take command of a wide range of Wild West forces, from Gunslingers and Cavalry to civil-war era Cannons and Gatling Guns. Or, employ more exotic weapons like steam-powered Gyrocopters and Zeppelins, and enlist the help of dark forces like Werewolves and Necromancers.

• Living Legends - choose a "Living Legend" as the leader of your forces. Each of the 9 unique legends grow in power as you play with them, and promote different play styles. Will you pick your foes off from a distance as Wyatt "Long-Arm" Wilcox, or focus on brute force with the help of ace gunslinger John "6-eyes" McGraw?

• Custom Games - choose from a variety of maps, set up the rules, and play with or against AI or human players via local, hot-seat play.

Perfect turn-based RPG-lite game

This is game takes a game like advanced wars and spins it on its head... adds cowboys, and the undead, while keeping the tanks and helicopters...

I cannot count the number of hours I played this trying to get each character/hero to level 40 and succeeding. Each hero has their own legendary skills level track that makes playing as them so much fun. You may struggle on one level with one hero and then switch to another absolutely boss that same level... now I’m still playing this game after a couple of years... I’m still trying to get 3 stars on each level for each character... I think a couple are just impossible... I thought a few more were until I nailed the tactics perfectly and scrapped through by the skin of my teeth... love this game!! My hopes for a sequel are still strong :)

Another amazing game by Mika Mobile!

By far my favourite app-game developer, this game is an amazing throwback to Advanced Wars but with beautiful RPG touches that enable you to enhance your preferred lead character. I have recently completed all challenge maps after completing the full story and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the well paced action. As with all of the Mika Mobile games - the only negative is that I cannot throw more money at them and make them produce further DLC, if they did I would surely purchase it (Battle Hearts 2 ALWAYS needed DLC! PLEASE!!!). 10/10 - can't wait for the next smash hit from this great team.

A more tempered review.

In regards to the game itself your most likely going to either hate it but want to keep playing or hate it and refuse to keep going, the main nuisances for anyone getting this game are that

1. The levels get extremely difficult fairly fast the first few are easy enough you might not 3 star em but meh fine least it’s progress, until you reach around about chapter/level 10 or 11 then the nightmare begins in earnest.

2. While the game is fun the levelling system for your living legends can be very long and drawn out if you get stuck anywhere making it feel slow and frankly not much of an achievement.

3. If you manage to get a legend to max level one way or another and then decide to check out a custom game there’s some bad news there too, custom games will quite often after you save and exit refuse to acknowledge that your character has actually got any perks, this includes things like discounts, extra health/attack etc which as someone who went through the hassle of getting a fully levelled legend is fairly annoying, yes I know the game is dated but still.
