This app was created by a software developer with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) who found the low FODMAP diet to be very effective in avoiding trigger foods. It includes the following key features:

- Clear and simple FODMAP rating system
- Database of 700+ everyday foods and ingredients
- Breakdown of each FODMAP rating (showing oligos, fructose, polyols and lactose content)
- Search by food name and filter by category/rating to find exactly what you want
- Tailor food ratings once you have worked out your tolerance

Updates to the entries for butternut squash / pumpkin, cabbage (white / common), cabbage (red), lychee (peeled), snow peas / mangetout, pine nuts, walnuts, yogurt (vanilla flavoured). Plus new entries for applesauce, cauliflower (purple), cashew butter, cheese (blue).

Love this app

I love this app but it says you can eat cheese but it does not say the strength. I ate the strong strength and it upset my stomach. It is a pity there is not more food on the list as you are limited on what you can eat. Also cannot eat out. With it coming up to Christmas I am not going to enjoy it as cannot eat my favourites foods like mince pie etc. Also you don’t have to eat just dark chocolate you can eat lactose chocolate but you have to check the ingredients still.

I do wish it would say what sauces and sweets you can eat. I love sweets but I do t know which ones I can eat.

Getting low fodmap sauces are expensive but they taste nice especially the Bay Kitchen sauces and gravy.

Life changing

After years of stomach problems I have been told I have IBS so looked for some helpful apps and found this. Easy to understand and get used to this has been life changing for me. I feel so well since I took the free advice from this app. Friends have told me how much better I appear to be from what they can tell. I have once made a mistake by trying something from the red list and paid the price of terrible stomach problems for twelve hours so I will be more careful from now on. Amazing advice and free as well. What more could you ask. Thank you for changing my life to be so much better.

Fantastic

I can’t praise this little app enough, suffering with IBS and other stomach issues I can’t be happier, it helps me out so much. The app it’s self is very simple and barebones but gets the job done perfectly and for completely free, can’t complain at all.
When you select an item it tells you 2 different serving sizes and based on them if it’s safe to have or not. Other apps either want money upfront or let you download them and then ask for a subscription when you click on the item. Highly recommend!
