Your smartphone becomes the digital link to your Mercedes. You have an overview of all information and control your vehicle via the app.


ALWAYS INFORMED: The Vehicle Status informs you about the mileage, range, current fuel level or data from your last journey, for example. Use the app to conveniently check your tyre pressure, the status of the doors, windows, sliding sunroof/soft-top and boot, or the current locking status. You can also pinpoint the location of your vehicle and receive warning messages regarding unlocked doors, for example.

CONVENIENT VEHICLE CONTROL: With the Mercedes me App, you can remotely lock and unlock or open and close the doors, windows, and sliding sunroof. Start the auxiliary heating/ventilation or program this for your departure time. In electric vehicles, you can also activate pre-entry climate control and temper the vehicle immediately or for a defined departure time.

CONVENIENT ROUTE PLANNING: Plan your route at your leisure and conveniently send addresses to your Mercedes via the app. This means you can get in and drive off straight away.

SAFETY IN AN EMERGENCY: The Mercedes me App notifies you of attempted theft, an attempt to tow away the vehicle and parking damage. If a vehicle alarm has been tripped, you can turn it off via the app. The Geofencing service sends you a notification as soon as the vehicle enters or leaves an area defined by you. In addition, you can configure Speedfencing and Valet Protect in the app, and receive push notifications in the event of their violations.

FUEL-SAVING DRIVING: The Mercedes me App shows you your vehicle's individual fuel consumption. It also compares your fuel consumption with that of other drivers of the same vehicle model. The ECO display informs you about the sustainability of your driving style.

SIMPLY ELECTRIC: The Mercedes me App lets you display your vehicle's range on a map and search for charging stations near you. The app also allows you to start the charging process at a public charging station.

Let the app help you. The Mercedes me Service App gives you a timely reminder of your next service appointment, which is easy to book from your smartphone. Also in the app: practical How-To videos in which you can find out more about your Mercedes-Benz and perform simple maintenance tasks yourself if you choose.

Expand your mobile options with the Mercedes me Store App. Easily find and buy innovative digital products available for your Mercedes. Keep track of the remaining terms of your Mercedes me connect services and on-demand features, and renew these as desired directly from your smartphone.

Please note: Mercedes me connect services and on-demand features only work with Mercedes-Benz vehicles that are equipped with the Mercedes me connect Communication Module. The range of functions depends on the particular vehicle equipment and your booked services. Your authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer will be happy to advise you. Use requires an active, free-of-charge Mercedes me account. The functions can be restricted temporarily if there is insufficient data transmission bandwidth. Continuous use of the GPS function in the background may shorten your battery life.

Mr AMG: The Dark Destroyer On Steroids!!

Having the option of using MercedesMe I find is useful as it allows me to have more control of my car whilst not in my car, particularly useful is the ability to check my vehicle from wherever I happen to be without having to go back and physically check my vehicle. It is also useful to have the stats to hand when wanting to know just how economical or uneconomical your car happens to be.
The only issue for me personally with using MercedesMe is that some of the use of MercedesMe is free for as long as you own your vehicle, whereas other uses of MercedesMe last anything from 1 year to 3 years free before you have to actually pay to continue using that particular area of MercedesMe, whereas I think whether you buy the car brand new or second hand the use of MercedesMe and all it allows you as a Mercedes Benz owner to access should be FREE, a small price for Mercedes Benz to shoulder when you consider the price invested by the Mercedes Benz owner in the first place.
The above is personal thoughts by a Mercedes Benz owner who has owned a Mercedes car over many years.

My Me

A great feature. I use it mainly to check car is locked and often get the notification informing me I’ve forgotten to do just that. Being able to lock and close windows remotely is brilliant. Also like the charge indicator. keeping an eye on that remotely is also a great feature. Have used the pre entry climate control, but not often. Like all software it’s not without its bugs. I’ve had some issues with the alarm going off randomly. Notifications of such is a bit hit n miss, not always being informed my alarm is going off. I’ve also had notifications that my cars on the move as stolen, although that’s been while I’m driving it. Only way I’ve found to then turn this off is park up, open the window, get out, lock the car and intentionally set the alarm off by sticking my arm through the open window, then resetting by unlocking the car. Was a pain for about 4 weeks. But has not happened for months now. All in all a great feature. But some extra care needed when developing software updates.
However. After 3yrs Mercedes turned off a lot of these features. Turns out they’re free for the first 3yrs. Then a lot of them are £80 a year if you want to keep them. Thanks Merc. 👍

Hi again as you mentioned, with a new car we offer a free trial period to test the services for 3 years, after that, you can choose to continue or not, it is a personal choice. Our, aim is not to have customers pay extra for the car if they do not use the features.

Not doing what it should

For some reason, I stopped receiving alert notifications that my vehicle was unlocked. This was over a month ago. I reported the matter to Mercedes me with phone calls and emails but am still waiting to hear back from the technical department (who it has been referred to).
I deleted and reinstalled the app and gave done everything requested - but it is still not functioning as it should.
My phone is running the latest software and the app is also the latest version. I feel very disappointed that up to now, I have not heard back from anyone with help and a resolution to this. More than 3 weeks to still be waiting and not hearing back is not good enough from a company such as Mercedes Benz.

Update 16th Dec 2020:
It is now more than 2 months since I first reported this issue.
I have continually sent updates re this and am running the latest version of the app.
I also have the latest software version on my iPhone 11 Pro Max.
I have also deleted and re-installed the app several times (as advised).
For 2 months now, I am repeatedly told that the issue is with the technical department - but still no response or help from them - only to advise me that it is still with them.
Is the issue with the app, my phone or my vehicle?
Either way, I would appreciate some help.
As an owner of new Mercedes vehicles for 11 years, I am very disappointed with the lack of support and communication that I am receiving.
