Anyone can download the Microsoft 365 app for free. Access and save documents to the cloud by connecting a Microsoft Account (for OneDrive or SharePoint) or by connecting to a third-party cloud storage provider. Logging in with a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account connected to a Microsoft 365 subscription will unlock premium features within the app.

Here’s a simple truth: We don’t interact with documents on mobile the same way we do on desktop. So naturally, it makes sense that Microsoft reimagined Office for a uniquely mobile experience. With Word, PowerPoint, and Excel combined into one app, being productive feels frictionless. And we love that.
Office 365
This office 365 app is brilliant it is an easy way to organise, learn and enjoy. This is proven because lots of schools use this website and it is an easier way to share work and forms. You can use it for homework easy for teachers. There is also a 7 day free trail so if you don’t like it you can delete and not have to pay monthly or weekly. Also it is only £5 a month so it is the right way to go!! This app was the best experience of my schoolmates because we could connect from miles apart. This app is also part of Microsoft so you get ALL of the Microsoft apps in one and just £5 a month!

Utter trash
I’ve been using Microsoft on a Mac for decades and in all that time it has caused me nothing but grief. Currently I’m having to use it for a contract, but it won't spell check, won’t drop in images properly and today I had to change the password on the account I was already logged into because it wouldn’t recognise my account. So from within the account I was logged into I had to change the password to access the app. Go figure.
You would think such a huge corporation could write a decent word processing package after all these years, but apparently not. If you’re looking for a reliable, albeit slightly limited app, try Google docs. At least it works on an iPad and it’s free. Even Apple mail has more functionality!
Word also will not allow you to copy text from a google doc and drop it into a blank word doc. I’m forced to draw either of two conclusions: either, Microsoft and Apple have some petty vendetta against one another and intentionally hinder integration, or the software writers at Microsoft are just plain incompetent. Either way we don’t have the software we should have by now.
