Mobile SharePoint - Very useful

Being able to search my Libraries and sites whilst on the move is incredibly handy. Working for many clients, I often know I have a particular resource.....somewhere and now I can find it and tweak it. Which can make the rest of the day go a little more smoothly, stack up those ‘a little more smoothly’s and the day is much better.

Frustrating to say the least

I use this app for my work in 3 hospitals, keeping up to date with shift changes on the rota when we are so short staffed was much easier. A few month ago my app stopped opening the simplest of files, I deleted it and downloaded again. Now I have to sign in each time the app is opened, which also includes flicking between my shift app and this one. Beyond worthless at times as it takes so long to do anything. I’ve resorted to just having to ask people to email me any changes and hope it’s stayed that way so I don’t turn up to the wrong hospital or at the wrong time.

Won’t Open

I used to use the app a lot, then 2 updates ago it started crashing on load. If I delete the app and reinstall it, it opens, but my employer protects the content of Microsoft apps with pin access by default, so it tells me it needs to restart. After restart, it doesn’t get past the main SharePoint logo before crashing. I also can’t seem to get the app to log out. As soon as I install it, it picks up my Microsoft creds from other Microsoft apps installed (I assume), logs me straight in, forces the restart and crashes. So I have no way of filing a report in the app and no way of getting support to resolve it. Waited for another update and still no luck.
