Battery consumption disclaimer
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. MileLogger is designed to limit iOS GPS usage by reading GPS data only when location is significantly changed. As a result MileLogger has minimal battery usage impact. After test
of a few month, MileLogger consumes only 1-2% of battery in 24 hours which is far lower than similar products.

Getting there!
This is a good app for being free. But there is some major challenges that I would fix by paying a small fee like 99p a month to solve those issues. Two main issues that I see at the moment is the adverts appear all the time and it becomes rather annoying as you can’t dismiss them immediately and you also can’t disable them by paying extra money. The other thing I’m finding is that Journeys are divided not as one continuous run which makes reporting a little bit more complex. So the overall view is good for free but I’ll pay for some extra functionality and a better product
Limitations?
Loved this app for the first week now it has stopped auto tracking. Checked all settings etc and all still the same. Will delete and reload app to see if it fixes or crashes out after a week again. Is there a limitation on number of journeys?
Pretty good, but
I do like the format and recording style, however, I cannot understand how whole days driving amounting to 500 miles are just not there. Further to this, it says Apple Watch action available but I can’t find it to add. Cheers Ian
