When I first got this (May 2018) was very useful - however on checking recently found no content whatsoever. Then a new update appeared (Oct 2018) and I thought ‘hurrah’ only to be disappointed as it made no difference there was still no content. My car is fantastic and could not be better a real BMW high end product whereas this app is just rubbish. BMW this does your reputation no good - for heaven sake fix it properly. Further info / update 1 year on (Oct 2019); further update to app - I thought finally it would work - I signed in to the app, it had my details and my cars, I was getting excited, surely this was it! But no my hopes were dashed again STILL NO CONTENT BMW this is now a real joke and not even YOU wasting any more time on it (if you actually have). My car remains marvellous, brilliant and perfect - this app still does you no credit and I don’t know why you just give up - like we as owners have?!?! HOLD THE PRESS - it’s only worked!!!!!!! I did the most recent update (November 2019) then deleted app - re-registered and it’s ALL there and working!!!! Yeeeeeeeehhhhhh HURRAH!!!! The app now matches up to my excellent mini. I am at this moment - well no I was a few minutes ago running round my flat cheering!!!! So it’s a five from me - well done even if it’s taken time you’ve got there finally, keep up the good work Mini 🤓

Excellent information readily available.

This is my first mini purchased new, I must say that the attention to detail from receiving the vehicle to ability to view online status of said vehicle has been a very enjoyable experience.

Wrong handbook for Mini Electric

This looks like it could be a handy app, but I had a couple of really annoying problems:
1. After logging into my Mini account, the app asked me to enter my VIN number. The Mini app (which is associated with the same account) knows my car’s VIN number, so why can’t this be picked up automatically? Or at the very least, could we please have an option to copy the VIN number from the Mini app rather than having to retype it?
2. After successfully identifying my car as “Mini Cooper SE” (which isn’t what it’s called in the UK but that’s fine) the app still isn’t able to give me the correct PDF Owner’s Handbook for that car. It gives me the general 3-door/5-door Mini hatchback handbook, which doesn’t cover the many features that are unique to the electric version.
