Don’t bother
The App and the whole issue of loading the card has left me frustrated and stuck in a foreign country unable to use my card. Tried logging in on the App and keeps crashing. Money transfers took longer than any card transaction. As soon as I get home I’m closing my account.
Workflow still flawed
You still can't buy currency and set the transfer in one go - you have to buy the currency, wait for it to go through (which after about 3pm won't be until the next day), then log in again to make the transfer.
Worse, the currency you're selling still shows in your account so you aren't sure if it's gone through. I accidentally made two large currency purchases because of this - although they cancelled the second at no charge when I called them the next day. I was a bit piqued when they said they might charge me if it happens again. The problem is with the app! (I since realised you can see if the transfer request has gone in by checking your emails after a few minutes.)
The biggest problem though is your oldest payee account seems now to automatically be the default, without showing the description making it clear which account is which - and I have two Euro accounts in different countries in my name. As a result I accidentally made a large transfer to my Italian account which I haven't used in ages. I now somehow need to transfer it back which is going to be a massive headache.
At least the app and website now uses plain English instead of confusing terms like "book a deal" and they finally support fingerprint login but every time they fix old problems they seem to create new ones. After years of using Moneycorp I'm thinking of trying Transfer Wise.
Shocking
Read the litany of dire reviews for this app and ignored them as I believed I was downloading an improved, updated version. I could not have been more wrong. I could not even get past the registration process without the app locking up and becoming unresponsive.
It’s safe to say that most people will use this app to manage funds as they go about their travels. They are far more likely to access your services via mobile devices than a desktop interface. To submit this to the App Store shows a shocking amount of disdain towards your user base if you believe this is sufficient. Numerous versions have failed to rectify any of the issues experienced by scores of reviewers, which shows that either you don’t know how to fix this, or you don’t care.
Apple should remove this from the App Store until you write an app that actually works.
