Cash Passport 4+

I’ve had this card for 3 years now. I got it in May 2019 when we went to Ibiza! And just as we were due to go on our first abroad holiday this year since covid thought I would look around at the new deals as this card surely would be out of date in terms of use and what is new! How wrong was I! After looking at all the new travel cards out there I wasn’t overly impressed so I went to speak to a lady at the sainsburys bureau who said that as my card was still in date it could still be used. And it now had extra features like free cash withdrawals abroad and a very good exchange rate that held. And once I downloaded the app to my phone I really couldn’t believe how easy it was to use. Easy to load, easy to change money back and easy to access on my phone which I did every day I was away so I could keep an eye on my spending! It was accepted everywhere and was instant transactions debit or credited!!!! Absolutely love this card so much! Can’t recommend highly enough!! I’m also using it in the UK now I’m back with left over euros converted to GBP! Don’t look at any other cards - get this one! And you don’t need to take a vent with you! 5 ⭐️ well done Sainsburys!

Cashier in Sainsburys recommended this when I was getting Euro. My partner and I were going on a walking holiday and didn’t want to carry a lot of cash. It has been the best thing ever and so easy to top up sitting in comfort of your own home or anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised that the Currency rate is good. I had the App downloaded onto my iPhone but it was difficult to read. I got a new iPhone and put app on again and it’s easy to read now. My partner and I have a card each linked to the 1 account. Our New Year’s resolution is to transfer some money every month. I tell everyone about the Cash Passport.

Have just come to use my Cash passport for the first time in a couple of years and it still has a year to run. Bank card normally used to top up funds has now expired and I was unable to find an option to change my card details. I rang the helpline, but seems they only usually handle enquiries regarding Cash orders, but Arran was very helpful and transferred me to Mastercard Card Services, who, though they understood what I wanted to do could not direct me on how to do it. After two suggestions that didn’t work we mysteriously got cut off. I went back onto the app and added the CVC number of my current card for the account I normally use to top up and lo and behold it offered me the option to change my card details. Still rather complex though and I have a suspicion that I may have topped up twice now as, though I have already authorised a transfer on my banking app, it’s now asking me authorise a transaction..another one 🤯
