My Cloud home
I have been a long time user of a my cloud, very different from my cloud home, however the migration was simple, the software simply copied the content of my cloud to the my cloud home. The new my cloud home took a little sorting to get kodi to see content and you can also not force update the firmware, it takes it to be a week online before it’s updated. I like the auto iOS photo backup when enabled, also the wd integrated app in windows. In short there are a couple of teething issues but in general I’m very pleased with the migration.
Hoping for Better
Good app, very easy to use, I have had a WD My Cloud for many years, only got a new one due to WD stopping support. I have an issue with music playback using this app it will not play consecutive music file i.e in a playlist or album, unless the screen is on and showing the MyCloud screen, very irritating, I was hoping for better than my old one Update to my above review: The latest update to the app (Feb 2022) solves my playback issues with IOS so I am very happy, well done and thanks

Have continued to be pleased with the MyCloud app, however on my older versions I could scroll through my files while listening to music files so I was able to choose what to listen to next before the end of my current choice, this would be a great update to this current MyCloud App
Working for for years now
Brought this some 4 years ago, and it has worked brilliantly for all that time, use it for photos and photo backups and also streaming movies, and has worked faultlessly for all that time, easy to setup and connects to all my Samsung TVs old and new, and connects directly to TVs so you can view without using plex or any other program, which I love, far more controllable, I have 2 mycloud drives and I still prefer my mycloud drive,
