The My JE app puts you in more control of your electricity usage than ever before, helping you to save energy - and money. See and compare how much electricity you’re using and when day-by-day, week-by-week or year-on-year in both kWhs (units) and cash, helping you to budget.

View your bills and transactions and compare your usage with other similar properties. The My JE app is simple to use and makes it clearer and easier than ever to stay in control of your electricity consumption and learn where and how to reduce it.

It puts control of your electricity usage at your fingertips, helping you to cut costs and save energy, helping to work towards a zero carbon future.

You will be able to:

- See and compare how much energy you’re using in day-by-day, week-by-week or year-on-year comparisons in both kWhs (units) AND cash.

- View bills, transactions and your account balance.

- Set up a profile to compare your electricity usage with other similar properties.

- Set a weekly or monthly consumption target to help you control costs.

Does it’s job….but

If you want, for example, to compare your usage from the previous month, to the same month two years ago it is a tedious process of scrolling day by day.. you can’t just choose a year and jump to a particular day or month .. bloody annoying

Heading down hill rapidly

I’ve been using the app since it was released and the more I use it, the more I want to delete it but keep hoping they will fix it 🤞
On the insights tab, it misses one or more days of readings each month and frequently sends me messages saying my usage is well below normal when it is the app being unable to read the data from my meter. Within a day or two the missing reading appears (sometimes) and negates the notification.
This pushes out the forecast for the month showing a significantly lower estimate for what it thinks I will use.
Occasionally, (it appears to be mainly December each year so far), when the app fails to add the DD payment to the bills tab for that month so my current bill is out.
I have tried reinstalling the app but that doesn’t fix the problem unless I log a ticket and they “reset” my account after which I have to wait a day or so before I can log back in.
The last couple of months the app just seems to hang if I try to view previous months data.
I waited for the latest update which came out the other day with “general improvements” but nothing seems to have been fixed … it still crashes and Decembers payment is still missing.
So far in January (12th) I am missing 2 days readings so the estimate is around half what it will be by the end of the month.
Probably best to scrap it and start again

Great little app

Can keep track of spending, also shows forecast for rest of month which also helps to budget. Great to see which devices are using power too.
