Needs more work

The concept is great; however the app is buggy. Some trips are missing completely (yes my phone was in the car and connected to it) and currently find my car says my car is parked in the last location before I drove home, missing my last journey. Before I made the trip this evening, again, the app was showing the last location before I drove home. There is no guidance anywhere on what to do to fix this. This app could be amazing, just needs another push to get there.

Needs more features and bug fixes

hi, car is great app needs improvement to be up with competition.
Bug fixes: when you initially log on you then need to go to battery information page and ‘wake car up’ to get true battery state. This then does update to true battery level. However if you then go back to the overview page ( the one that shows battery percentage only) this isn’t updated. You need to close app down and then come back into the app, it is then updated. All a bit messy for a £50k motor.
The app should also show how many charges and how many kw/h you added per charge, by week and by month. It would also be helpful to be able to add pence per kw/h ( for UK) to show cost of charging ( this would be mainly for home charging costs). This I have been able to do on my previous hybrids that are now 5 years old. Come on Toyota it can’t be that tricky to add the above to your app to improve the user experience and for the ones of us that like a gadget would be great … only had the car 2 weeks -Toyota rav 4 hybrid - but very impressed so far with build quality and cleverness of the electric hybrid system compared to my previous hybrid.

New to MyT

Edit: it was a glip I think, unfortunately for me it happened just when everything in my car was being completed. Amended rating as experience so far good.

I ordered my car and have been tracking progress from order to build. I received an email telling me it had left the factory, tried to log on but after updating the app this morning, can’t log on any more. I’m sure it’s just a bug (or lots of people are logging on to check their car status) but it won’t be much use to me if i can’t log on. Thanks.
