Interesting app

We moved to our current village just over 2 years ago and as keen gardener, interested in geology, I wanted to know about the soil in the garden and took some PH readings. This app confirms what I discovered then, but now I know that I need to add more organic matter to the soil. So yes the app has been useful but as always I want to know more than the app tells me. Oh well back to the books!

Needs fine tuning

Almost there. Found it impossible to pinpoint *exact* location on map which only zoomed in so far on my iPhone 6. 1 street away quite different soil. No feedback "searching for your info" etc. User thinks: is it broken? or is it thinking? or does it have no info to give me?

A specialist gem

Not everybody wants to know about soils as they travel the country, but if you do this is a gem of a companion. The soil descriptions are not hugely detailed, but the boundaries between types are, and it is often that change that provides the curiosity. If you have any interest in soils beyond your own backyard, this is a no-brainer to add to your toolbox.
