Description
We've already been featured in BBC News, Radio 5 Live TimeOut, Independent, Metro, Gizmodo, Mirror, Evening Standard, The Manc and many more so it's about time we got our iPhone app live too!
The Neverspoons app helps you find alternative pubs, bottle shops and breweries away from the main chains. We have thousands of hand-selected and community-submitted local pubs and taprooms for you to try instead.
With location switched on you will see venues nearest to you. To see a full list of locations to get alternatives to, click on the list at the bottom.
If you have any suggestions for new venues let us know via our the app as we're adding new locations as soon as they come in.

What’s New
Version 2.1.1
In this version, we've made some small bug fixes and styling tweaks. We've also enabled some smaller, unobtrusive ads to help support the upkeep of this app and to enable us to keep this app free!

Love the idea of it
I love the idea of this, but it’s not accurate. Wetherspoons owns about 900 pubs, whereas brands like Stonegate have 5000 and all of theirs are listed as independents (which they obviously aren’t) the true independents are then in turn missing out to the big boys. I’m sure over time, this will be fixed though. Keep up the great work!
Now works
Changing my 1* review as now the search is working and the map scrolls. Needs more information about the venues hence 4* but hopefully that will come in time.

This was an issue with certain iPhone versions and has now been fixed in the brand new version which is out now.
What a brilliant idea
Nicely designed app. Wetherspoons are shown in red and independent alternatives are shown nearby as green . I have been actively avoiding Wetherspoons for a few years for obvious reasons and this app makes it even easier . It would be great to get the pub information filled in next . Thank you for a great app !
