Freedom Leisure 17+

I am so happy that at the age of 85, I joined Freedom Leisure for swimming and sessions in the gym. I needed to do this to bring myself back to full health and mobility after major spine surgery in January 2023 and, with the help of the superb trainers and all the staff at the pool and in the gym, I am now in a very very much better place, very active and very mobile and, once again, I am enjoying life to the full.
Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff at Freedom Leisure and I can only thank them with all my heart for all they have done (and still continue to do) for me and for their care. A really big THANK YOU to them all.

Completely impossible to search for classes as the search firm insists you pick a single day. I want to see all classes (of a type, eg Pilates) that are currently available to book on ANY DAY. Having wasted 20 minutes installing the app and searching one day at a time, I find there is nothing available to book. And, based on experience with the website and with phoning reception, I know there will never be any availability because the Seven Day rule is treated as Eight Days by staff on reception.

The app is actually worse than the website, which did at least allow searching all days. All that’s been done is to take the hideous, cramped little tables from the website and plonk them in an app, but with even less functionality. What a waste of members’ money!

Searching needs to be vastly improved. Categories, for a start. Searching by exercise type (not class name) would be particularly helpful, eg high energy, low impact, gentle, 50+ or 60+, instead of having to guess what will be suitable.

Love coming to the leisure centre I’ve made so many friends since starting the staff are wonderful find them all so very helpful plus the staff in the Costa are to very friendly and helpful will be so pleased that the swimming pool will be open very soon I tell all my other friends who don’t come to the leisure centre how good it is
