nomi | a pet for your watch 4+

Very good motivator

I decided to purchase this app as I needed something different to motivate me to move once I had done my workouts for the day. It’s good coz it’s about moving and steps. You don’t need to workout to keep your pet alive, your heart becomes full when you are doing the house work or even washing the car. Everyday activities keeps your pet alive. The reason I have not given it a 5 stars is my watch battery life. As an AW user we all know that the battery life is pants. I find now that I am charging my watch half way through the day to keep the battery topped up. My watch battery used to get me through a day, I always charge it up at night only!!

What a cute and brilliant app this is! My only negative to report is the sense of loss I felt after losing my little guy after nurturing him carefully for 31 days after one crazy day of work meetings. I lost Blitsy... I was bereft! I am now on day 50 with my latest cute companion and have formed quite a bond.

The strange virtual grief at the first loss (maybe COVID PTSD) has motivated me even more this time round. I think this is a lovely use of the watch and getting those of us working at home off their a**es where we are in real danger of being sat immobile for large portions of the working day. I now do meetings walking around an adjacent field to fuel the tiny, smiling fella!

My favourite Apple Watch purchase!

Every Apple Watch owner needs this app- especially if you’re trying to keep active and healthy. It had some minor bugs, but in a short space of time the developer rectified them and improved the experience greatly! The app is so simple, which is perfect for the watch. It motivates you to keep moving in order to keep evolving your Nomi. If you don’t, your Nomi goes to heaven (you can see all of your fallen pets from the past). For such a small price, I would recommend this app to everyone. Plus it looks fantastic as a watch face complication! Thank you to the developer/s for this app, it’s made me love my Apple Watch just that little bit more!
