This app helps tracking your progress on the fitness program "nSuns 5/3/1 LP"
If you're as tired as me of d*cking around with excel spreadsheet / scribble notes when trying to track your progress on the nSuns 5/3/1 program: this is your app.

Some of the features include:
• easy tracking of your progress in the gym
• supports 4, 5 and 6 day nSuns 5/3/1 templates
• automatic programming of your workouts including weight progression and rep scheme
• accessory exercises
• rest timer
• easy training max calculation
• support of metric and imperial unit system

This app was originally designed for myself as there was no considerable alternative app in the store which suited my needs. As time went by and this project became more and more mature I decided to hand it to the public as well. Does what it needs to do

No bells, no whistles, no unnecessary features. Just answers to the question “what am I doing and how heavy am I doing it?”

Best features:

☑️Automatic calculation of weights for each cycle.
☑️“Ticking off” of sets rather than manual entry of weight/reps
☑️Ability to choose next workout easily and not be bound by set days or a set order.

The last one is especially important to me as my ability to set aside time tolift is dependant on a number of factors including other sports. If I have to skip a day or train upper instead of lower body then I can - easily.

I’ve looked into and tried more “comprehensive” apps (even other 5/3/1 apps) but keep coming back to this.

If I could improve it I’d allow the ability to pre-programme assistance (with volume) and possibly improve the stark, minimalist designs (although it may well be that which is part of the appeal!)

10/10 would recommend. Look forward to seeing what’s next.

Almost perfect

The only thing I can possibly think of which the app doesn’t appear to do is a plate calculator for the total weight amounts but that seems like such a small gripe for what is truly a fantastic app for getting to grips with a training regimen.
Absolutely recommended and definitely donate if you can (I have done so and will consider doing so again 6 training cycles later).

Love this. But for my simple brain I just wish there was an option to show total weight and then in brackets maybe the total weight that needs to be either side of the bar. Example total weight is 70kg (25kg each side).
Just because I have to open up my calculator every time and minus 20 and then half the result. But amazing app thankyou for your time and effort
