As a kid who’s been struggling with mental health and rely on my phone for support mechanisms such as music and comfort creators etc. This app has stopped me from accessing anything on my phone after a certain time and ever since it’s been on my phone I’ve been getting less and less sleep because I can’t have the apps I need for comfort. Also it makes kids feel like they have no control over their own devices. If you gave your kid a phone, iPad whatever, you need to have that sense of trust and if you feel the need to have this app then it takes away that bond of trust with your child and you might as well take their device away all together. I have friends with a 5 hour behind time difference and this app has made it hell to communicate with them. All I’m saying is if you want to get this for your kids please don’t. Sit down and have a proper conversation about anything you are dealing with that you think this app might help with but it’s probably only going to make your relationship with your kid worse and they aren’t going to trust you as much as you don’t trust them enough to consider having this app put on their phone. There are other, better and healthier ways of dealing with problems that you and your child might be having. Please do not put this app on their phone.

Ok this app might look like its gonna solve everything to parents. Its not. More like making your child feel mad or actually having some kind of hatred towards you. This app looks like heaven to parents when its actually just causing more harm than good. Lets face it, its sure not healthy for your child to stay on their phone 24/7 but if your getting this app for your child then maybe consider discussing and listening to their side of the story, and if your getting this because they are not doing what they’re asked for example homeworks,chores,reading etc. It might be better if you told them that if they dont do them then your getting this app. As a child who this app is being used on, i just dont want anybody else to experience it. I study, do my chores and read everyday but i still get this app used on me and its just making my bond with my parents more colder and i also am starting to lose friends because of this app. I just hope that no parent is using this app for their child anymore because if your a parent who are using this then ur automatically a bad parent whether you care about it or not its not gonna make your child caring and loving and a perfect human being who everyone looks up to.

This app is awful and has made my relationship with my daughter very difficult! We tried this app to control her screen time so she could get out more to improve her depression but not being able to have the music that helps comfort her or the videos that she watches to get creativity for her art, it makes her very what she calls ‘numb’. Where she doesn't want to do anything like getting out of bed or getting dressed even stopping things that she used to love. Watching the happy girl i knew fade hurt so bad, I had good intentions with this but it just doesn't work out with some kids. She finds it difficult to express her thoughts to me so it normally ends up with her lashing out or some kind of break down. She told me how this felt very controlling and as if there was no trust between us. Then she went on to tell me how she depends on talking with friends certain content creators to keep her going and “enjoying living” it may sound like a stretch and many parents might read this as them being addicted to their phone but the times are changing and teens are more complex now.
