I recently got this app and I love it, it is great especially since it is free. However, there are a few things I think could do with some improvement:

- I am designing an extension to my house and started with the bathroom. Now I can only use the bathroom furniture although I would like to include a kitchen and possibly more in the extension. Can I have several different types of rooms with different types of furniture in one plan? Or do I need to have a separate plan for each room?

- Often when I try to move furniture around, the window where you type in the measurements pops up and I keep having to press ‘done’ or ‘cancel’. How can I prevent this from happening?

- I saw another review said there were very limited options for doors. Although it’s not such a big problem, I agree that it would be nice to have some more doors and maybe things like French windows.

- When working on the plan, the measurements of walls can get in the way and become quite confusing. I think just having a ‘ruler’ tool (available in all sections) that you can use to find the distance between any two points would be good. Maybe wall measurements could only show automatically in the ‘room’ section.

Overall a very helpful app, would recommend.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to write such a comprehensive review. I really appreciate that.

At first the app was designed for decorating a single room. We realize our users requirements are growing and that they would like to design entire houses. To a certain degree you can do this by using the interior walls, however the app does have limitations regarding entire floors or houses. It's something we are going to have to address in the future.

The onscreen keyboard pops up if you do a long tap on one of the canvas measurements. I realize this can be annoying when positioning furniture. It propaply happens when you are sliding an object over a canvas measurement. This is also something we have to work on.
- You can however deactivate a lot of the measurements in the options menu. (tap the three horizontal bars at the bottom of the screen, and then tap the gears icon). Maybe this eases the problem a little bit.

Yes, more options for doors and windows is something I hear a lot from other users.
And I can assure you the 'ruler' tool is coming soon. That is something I may start to work on this summer.

I first set up a room on my iPhone, then decided to use my iPad do the bigger screen, but I can’t access my saved room? How do you use the cloud option - there are no instructions it just asks you for a login that I don’t have? Would love to be able to access all my saved rooms from both devices, and also have the option to move furniture already sized in one room into another without having to redraw it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. At the moment you can't move designs from one device to another. We are however working on an in-app purchase feature, where you will be able to register for a cloud account and save your designs to our cloud. Then you will be able to access them from another device or even from a different platform (Android or Windows PC etc.)
This feature will be included in the next update, which is coming soon.

Someone wrote a review saying it was easy to use, not my experience 🤯😤got this to try rearranging a room in theory before practice because what I have in mind is a little unorthodox... took the measurements, should have written them down 🤦🏻‍♀️ luckily remembered them until I discovered the lock in feature... even worked out eventually how to put in corners, all’s well until the last wall.. it wants to add more walls than I have, can’t work out how to take them off because it’s not obvious and then the walls that were correct suddenly unlocked themselves and my room looks like some piece of modern art... I could have screamed... no worries it’s been backing up... my back ups wouldn’t come back and to add insult to injury I can’t start a new project or fine a home but to start again... I will go back to pen and paper and I will uninstall your dreadful app because that was the only way to reset it 😡

Now come on. Your review is very unfair to say the least. Please bear in mind, that this app is used by professionals on a daily basis and we are offering this app to private individuals for free and without any annoying advertising. I can't think of any other apps out there with this complexity that do that.
You can't work out how to delete walls? - Just tap the corner point and select "Delete corner point" -> the two walls are merged into one. (Of course a locked wall can't stay locked if it's being merged with a second wall.)
Also, there is an undo and a redo button located in the planning canvas. If you do something inadvertently by mistake, you can go back an almost indefinite amount of steps.
We don't understand what the problem is with backing up your scenes.
You can save the scene at any time (Button with the disc icon at the bottom right of the screen.) And you can load the scene at any time. (Button with the folder icon located at the bottom right of the screen).
In the load screen you just select a slot with the saved scene and press load. -> Couldn't be simpler.

And no, you don't have to uninstall the app to reset it. There is a big, hard to miss reset option in the settings menu.
