A must for every Pianist - beginner to master

I have been a regular reader from the first printed issue of pianist to the current digital regular downloads, though admittedly with a few breaks every now and then. I can honestly say it is probably the best magazine for the learning pianist, and lets face it who stops learning?

In addition to piano I play drums, saxophone and guitar and have an interest in other instruments. This is not only the best value Piano players magazine, in my opinion it has set the benchmark by which all instrument magazines should be compared to.

There is so much rich content, the scores alone are more than worth the purchase price, in addition are the video tutorials from masters who actually know what they’re talking about. I also thoroughly enjoy the supplementary editions that focus on various composers or specific aspects of learning. And new works from both established and up and coming artists.

I am grateful that Pianist has surpassed 100 editions already. And look forward to the next 100 and beyond. That takes some commitment, which I don’t believe can be attained without some incredible passion. And once you’ve not just read, but really engaged with a few editions, you’ll feel the passion and inspiration too.

Like having a piano teacher in your home!

I recently started playing the piano again after a long break and discovered Pianist magazine. And I’m so glad I did!
The app has everything I need to learn and improve my playing skills with superb how-to lessons. I love the range of scores with Graham’s video tutorials, and I enjoy seeing what music will feature in each issue. It certainly gives me plenty of variation in my playing.
Wonderful magazine. My special treat every month!

Superb

Great articles, good range of music from beginner to advanced, music theory lessons, notes on the pieces ... and works very well on the iPad. I'm a beginner and this is perfect for me, and I look forward to moving onto the harder pieces! Keep up the excellent work.
