This app was really helpful as it helped me to target what really triggers my unhealthy moments and thoughts-however it still could use some help. I think one of the predominant issues is that it’s only in one language, and the voiceover has an accent in that language. I think some people could easily be triggered hearing a certain language as it could reignite bad memories from visiting one country or a traumatic moment in which a specific language/dialect/accent was spoken. Personally, my ptsd stems somewhat from an incident where hearing an american accent really hurt me. I won’t go into how, but the audio-based meditation and exercises don’t really work solely because hearing that accent instead of my own really makes it hard to focus on doing what I’m supposed to do, and instead invites a lot of negativity and moments in my life that I’m currently trying my hardest to move on from. But it doesn’t help that I hear it so much so that I can’t move on. Except for that, I’d only ask that users have a chance to talk to someone-even if its just AI, as talking is such an important part of therapy for people with PTSD.Thank you :)
