Description
This app allows mobile users of the Quartix Vehicle Tracking system to view their vehicles in real time while on the move. The app is free to download, but can only be used by Quartix subscribers. It has the following key features:
- Home screen dashboard showing an overview of your fleet, including whether the vehicles are moving or stationary with the ignition on/off and notifications.
- Track your fleet showing the latest vehicle or driver location on the map or as a list.
- Navigate to a particular vehicle or driver to see further details, the trips carried out during the previous 12 months, speed report, and acceleration and braking behaviour.
- Push notifications about critical events, such as incidents, failed inspections from the Quartix Check app, and battery voltage warnings.
- List of notifications during the last 30 days.
- Change the password of your account directly within the app.
- Navigate directly to the location of any vehicle using your preferred map app.

Poor development
I’m not sure an update of this app has ever made anything better. Really slow. New ‘calendar style’ date selection is clunky and slow, the date/month/year scroll was much better, despite taking you to one day away from the selected date, at least once you knew this and allowed for it you could make it work quickly. Randomly logs you out, usually at the most inconvenient moment.
Updates for the sake of updates…
The previous app worked well, was simple to use, and displayed a list of vehicles and all the information you’d realistically need as soon as you opened it. Now, it’s unnecessarily complicated, doesn’t function well at all, and in some cases even displays two sets of data simultaneously for the one vehicle. A massive step backwards seemingly just for the sake of it. Emailed Support with several issues several days ago and have had no response. If it ain’t broken…

Quartix Support
Fails to open after update.
Always been a great app but since the update it seems like it is going to open then shuts down. I’m sure just a temporary blip but really need it working again! Follow up: Following a conversation with Quartix the reinstated my account and all works fine again now. Thank you for the support.
