Good app a couple improvements would make it great
The app is easy to use and navigation is easy to work out. What would be helpful is the ability to set the view to show 2-4 items per row, rather than having to work with 3. When looking through products this would reduce the need to drill into items to see a reasonably sized picture. Also it would be great to have a quick view that would allow the video to be shown when selecting quick view from the master display page for the items retrieved by your search.
Last and final would be to have the option to save a wish list for later so when deciding which to purchase or wanting to buy later this is tracked in the app.
REQUIRES FURTHER WORK
This App struggles in many ways. The search function is not at all helpful. If you misspell an item it struggles. It’s non predictive. It sometimes only shows 4/6 items for someone as big as Kim & Co. If you select an item in your basket, it won’t reload the information (why not), should you wish to read the item information again..... very frustrating. It doesn’t half your postage when buying more than one of the same item, yet the presenters are always telling us about this selling point.
Often items say ‘waiting for images’ yet when you click on the item the images are displayed, so the images are obviously available. The product information is lacking, especially on footwear. The internal materials don’t indicate what the insoles are made of/finished with. The toe shape which is all important, is very rarely mentioned and you end up having to watch a video to try and glean the actual shape. Most buyers want to see 360 degrees of garments, yet these often fall short.... again need to watch videos but who has the time? Even whilst writing this review the App has frozen on my phone!?!? Twice!?!?! When you select view items by show you move to a blank screen. Etc, etc. I started off with 3* on this review and already it’s dropped to 2*.
Disappointing
This app is not very user friendly. It struggles to search with anything less than a perfect spelling. And when you’ve spelt it correctly, it throws up all sorts into the mix that aren’t even close or relevant. But then so does the website. You can’t reload an item from the basket. You can’t check your order status, that’s only on the website. The titles and names of some items are weird and wonderful so that remembering them and trying to search becomes a challenge. Then because of the random names, you get all sorts come up. The viewing of items seems a bit cropped and odd but I concede that may possibly be my tablet.
Overall it’s a pain, takes longer than the website so I’m going back to the website. A shame really, such a huge company with so many ideas, access to great brands and great prices is putting me off as a shopper having to navigate this difficult app. One good thing, it’s a quick check out.
