RØDE Microphones presents RØDE Rec LE, an introductory version of its professional audio recording app, RØDE Rec.
RØDE Rec LE gives you the opportunity to trial the core elements of RØDE Rec free of charge, with the ability to upgrade at any time to access the complete professional feature set of the full app.

Ratings and Reviews
Horrendous
None of the ‘convenient’ ways to export your recordings work in any way. Any file over 4 minutes in length is doomed to stay on your phone forever. This app is riddled with error messages and failures. One of the most amateur interfaces I have ever come across of ANY smartphone app from the last 10 years. This paid version is appalling and offers no extra benefit whatsoever to the LE version which does not work at all either. Absolutely terrible app and product. If you are looking for professional recordings, get as far away from this product as possible.
Terrible App and Customer Service
I paid £50 for the mic yet the app doesn’t work. It’s exactly as the other review says. It doesn’t work, terrible app and you can NEVER get the audio off the phone. Rendering the £50 mic I purchased useless. I have contacted customer support and nothing. Absolutely useless to think I purchased a mic that doesn’t have the software to support it. Rode should be ashamed of themselves.
Poorly designed limited app
So we buy a Rode microphone then have to pay for the app to use it probably? Sure there’s this free version of the app but is particularly poor. The interface looks 10 old. It’s mind numbingly basic and geared towards getting you to pay £5.99 for the full featured app, which by the looks of things has the same poor interface.
