Rise of Castles: Fire and War 12+

Been playing this game for about 5 months under two different accounts. Now I’ve got to the point where buildings take 1-2-3 days to upgrade and the cost of each material to build is becoming extortionate. Like 30,000,000 lumber to upgrade the storage to upgrade the food to 30,000,000 to upgrade the castle?? C’mon! Do I have to pump in £30-£40 each week just to get a head in the game so I can win a battle or two?? It’s getting ridiculous with the price of each material needed because although I’m able to station someone to the quarry, mint and farm etc…I cannot for iron and lumber…they just want more money so you can go further into the game.

If this isn’t rectified I’m gonna be finding another game which I can play for less money without the gameplay….id rather on that than spend on this just to up the level of the castle by 1.

You will notice that the developers have a copy and paste response for all reviews they have responded to…in a nut shell how they treat players, with disdain and emoji prayers.

If you ever request a refund not directly through the game, they freeze your account and give you negative credit you have to work off/buy through in-game packs.

met some friends I’ve been playing with for 4 years now. Unfortunately the developers care about money to the detriment of the game, the matchmaking and glitches in the latest Eden unbalanced the whole event and has really limited enjoyment for all. It’s a shame as it could be 5stars if they would prioritise checking for fundamental errors and thinking about what they are doing over rushing out new updates for the purpose of lining their bank account. Greedy gimps. To continue following the ‘developers’ response… I don’t care about the spending that’s something you can do if you want. The problem is they don’t care or understand the people are genuinely aggrieved that the game values rushing out events before they are tested. In the last month at least 3 events have been amended, postponed or rerun because of glitches. When gamers are spending days of their life playing this the least they should expect is a solid event. Unfortunately not. Part 3 I have left the game.

I have been playing this game for a month or so. It’s nice, fun and fast enough to progress in the initial stages.. however the more you are going up the level the more time it requires and more resources.. ok that’s a common thing in mobile games however I found that RoE is far too slow to progress and the amount of resources required is crazy! The production on some resources is constantly insufficient (eg gold) and to obtain special tickets required to upgrade buildings or heroes is far from the reality.. also the times required to upgrade buildings are crazy too. All these are quite demotivating.. even if you want to spend some real money the packs are still below the average unless you spend hundred of pounds/ dollars/ euros and again nobody can really tell that you will be progressing your castle properly… even if you create 100 farm accounts, the resources are still so inefficient as the asking is 1000 times higher than the production! Oh, and to participate in the events you will need to spend again a considerable amount of either speed ups, resources and troops which ends up to be in a constant loop of seeking iron and gold.. annoying and demotivating I’d say..
