Ratings and Reviews
Great but could use some improvements still
This app is great, I love being able to watch all my favourite content from all my favourite creators, and for a brilliant price. My problem with this app however is that the download feature seems to work perfectly with shows like gen:lock but others don’t seem to work, they will play for a short bit, then have some really bad graphical crash and then just not load, even though I have downloaded it, it’s extremely frustrating. Beyond that however there isn’t much to complain about, except please make an iPad compatible app, considering I watch all my media on an iPad I’d love it if I could watch things on a screen fit for an iPad.
Upload Issues?
Every couple of weeks the app will not add videos that are uploaded to the RT website, it usually lasts a day or two and then it starts operating properly again, however the videos that were released during the period that the app wasn't updating never appear on the app, I've checked the website and the Xbox one app and neither of these experience these issues.
Has anyone else had this issue or found a solution?
Besides that the app operates well, although not overly user friendly, I'd like to be able to change the video quality but it's hardly a big problem.
Absolute trash on iPad
I don’t even know why they’ve made the app available on iPads because they’ve clearly just tailored the app for mobile phone devices and made it “compatible” for the iPad.. If you’re looking to download the app for an iPad... don’t, just use an internet browser to access the site.
The app doesn’t even fill the screen when in portrait mode.. because yeah, that’s what I want when browsing things is two black stripes down either side ..
How do they not have a team capable of translating the app to tablet devices as well, instead of just mobile devices?!
Quite laughable actually that an actual company, who specialises in internet content can’t make a decent app.
Maybe hire actual professional app developers instead of whatever high school amateurs who have developing this god awful crap.
