Convert and capture The app uses clever technology to convert your favourite recipes straight from the internet! So, if you find something you like the look of, simply add it to the app and Salter Cook will convert the image, ingredients, weights and cook time in our easy-to-follow format. You can also manually enter recipes to keep them all in one place. Edit Once Salter Cook has converted your recipe, you can enter the method or edit the ingredients to suit your preferences. Pour This nifty app is not restricted to cooking and baking, you can also use it to store your smoothie recipes or even cocktails! Keep track Cross off steps as you go, making it simple to follow your recipes. Simply tap the instruction/ingredient to put a line through it and keep track of where you are. Could be a great App

I do find this app convenient to save my recipes. When I first started using this app it would seamlessly import recipes from web pages but for a long long time now it will only import the ingredients list leaving the method and picture to be added manually. So for me to make this a great app they needed to 1: fix the import of recipes & 2: they need to add the ability to lock the device from closing. This is often found on recipes on the web so that one doesn’t have to keep opening your device (iPhone, iPad) often with messy hands!

Great app for storing and cataloging all your favourite recipes and even better if you have some of the compatible Salter scales, the built in timers are useful!Love how it scales the recipes up or down when you alter the number of portions, most recipes are easily added from the internet, with some requiring simple copy and paste of ingredients and methods to complete.Great how it syncs all recipes across my iPad and iPhone, handy to have when shopping or just browse recipes when out and about!

Review of thermometer

Overall not a bad app, but ... three major niggles:1 - the thermometer loses connection if switching between different views in the app. 2 - the timer audio alert only lasts for about five seconds.3 - would be handy to have an overall view page for timer and both temperature levels.

This is a fantastic app whether or not you use the Salter cook scales or thermometer. When integrated with their tools it’s even more amazing. It’s so easy to save recipes from the internet and they are stored remotely so there is little danger of losing them. You can also type in recipes. The ability to export recipes in a simple format would be a real bonus with this app and allow you to share your collection with others. I have now made this my main app for storing all my recipes
