Samsung Health is currently compatible with Samsung Gear S2, Samsung Gear S3, Samsung Gear S4, Gear Fit2, Gear Fit2 pro, Gear Sports, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Fitⓔ , Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Fit2 only.
Samsung Health provides basic, but mandatory features that help you improve your health.
Samsung Health analyses your exercise and activity history, and helps you achieve weight loss and lead a healthy lifestyle.
Using several trackers, you can manage your walking, running, cycling, mountain climbing, indoor exercise, and outdoor exercise data, etc., while useful tips and exercise programs developed based on your customized settings help you fulfill the purpose of your exercise.
42 languages, including English, French, and Chinese, are supported; for other language regions, English is supported.
The available features may vary depending on the region, service provider, and device model.
You can manage data via Samsung account.
Samsung Health must only be used for improving physical fitness and health, and cannot be used for diagnosing disorders or conditions, or for curing, relieving, treating, or preventing disorders.
Apple Health tracks your step count and can share that data with Samsung Health to provide an accurate step count. User can control permission for this sharing in Apple Health Settings.

Why the low score?
Having been using many fitness wearables and fitness apps for years now, I don’t see why this app has a low score. My Gear Fit 2 tracks everything I want and the app is excellent. I’ve always needed to use a fitness app and a linked nutrition app to get a complete health record but this app combines them both effortlessly. It looks great, I found it very intuitive, covers all my workouts (running, rowing, push ups etc), sleep tracking and food intake. I’ve previously had to pay for the level of analytics it provides and this is all included here! Well done developers for an ambitious complete app that is working 100% for me. 5 easy stars.

It kind of does what it needs to do
The user experience is not great. No auto-sync meaning that every time you open the app, the data is out of date and you need to pull down to refresh. That usually does not sync anything so you need to try again a few more times. Than finally you get your data into the app. Now you need to reload Together tab. Now that Together tab is reloaded, you need to go back to main tab to resync with your watch so that the info on your watch is up to date. Oh yeah and also if you do not do this several-minute-process every die, you will likely lose data from your watch. It will be on your watch but the app will be like “meh too old, I am not going to sync that”. Also, it is not possible to share your sleep or steps from your watch with any other applications.
So overall, it is not like it does not work. It does when you are patient enough and remember to go through the process daily. I am glad that they at least brought the Together feature to iPhone users and that they are still improving the app. However, at the moment the user experience makes me want to hit myself with a chair out of frustration.

Dear sirmart1n, Data is synced with wearable automatically done when app is launched or comes from Background to Foreground, provided the Bluetooth connection is still active. So, this auto sync takes can take 30~40 seconds. Please let us know if this is working.
Please turn on Auto sync from settings>Samsung account so that data is always backup up.
Your social steps should be updated automatically.

Never syncs properly
I’ve had a galaxy watch active for about half a year now and I love the watch, but the app drives me up the wall. It never syncs and loses data. I have months on the app where it just says “no data recorded”. Yesterday I did 8000 steps according to my watch but every single time I synced the app it said I did just over 7000. I should be able to just open the app and have it connected but I have to jump through many hoops every time to just get it to connect to my watch, and even then it doesn’t sync properly.
I’ve done every troubleshooting suggestion in the reply’s from Samsung: everything is updated, automatic sync is on, background refresh is on and I open the watch app and let it connect before trying but it still doesn’t sync properly.
If you have a health app it should at the bare minimum sync the steps properly! It’s a health tracker!!
It’s really disappointing and frustrating because I love the watch but I would not recommend it to anyone for the sole reason of this app.
Needs to be fixed soon.
