Issues with ordering at the table
Tried to use the app today to order at the table, however when trying to order a meal with chips it automatically chooses the option to substitute the chips for sweet potato fries with no option to untick it unless you choose another substitute, so you can’t just have the meal as it comes!
I tried quitting the app, reinstalling it and on another device but the problem was still there 😢
This app is disappointing ! I had great hopes.
“Down load the app and have a free drink on us” suggested the sign when I walked in. So I did and registration was easy enough until it came to verification of the said free drink . The links that had been sent to my message inbox ( to unlock the free bee) sent me back straight to the App Store to open the app I had already open ! So no free drink after trying several times .
I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app !even tried to use’ forgot password’ to try to see if it would send an email to my email address ( suggested it would) so I could change it. This didn’t happen either !!
So two registrations later with two emails I’m no further forward !!
This app needs work please sort it out !!!

Today I ate at Red Lion in Bedford and the service was shocking to say the least. The waitresses didn't come into our section unless to serve food and we had to ask for our plates to be cleared and for our next course both main and desserts. Our two children that are both under 4 waited almost an hour for their main. Then while waiting again for dessert were told off by a waitress who told them they can’t be playing in the way which they wouldn’t have been doing if the food was served the way it should have been from the beginning. Their only saving grace was that the food was actually ok and once there was a shift change our second waitress was lovely and very apologetic. I would think twice about eating here ever again.
