Ratings and Reviews
Good but needs some improvements
It's a good app overall. Offline use seems solid, as far as I've tried. I would like to see secure emails with external recipients & snooze. They seem to be building up the features at good pace. One significant problem that is a show stopper is the inability to manage emails because of the enforced conversation threading. To me, this makes email experience an utter unmanageable mess. Worse, I cannot delete out of office email responses without deleting the entire conversation...
Google Alternative but more secure and multifeatured!
It's got your back with end-to-end encryption for my Email, Events, Files, and Documents – making it a great alternative to Google apps. Your data is like Fort Knox. No trackers, no ads – just your stuff staying mine. Plus, Skiff Mail is all about that open-source vibe, so you know it's legit. End-to-end encrypted messages mean you can chat freely without any worries.
Needs improvement
Moved to Skiff from Proton Mail. The desktop version is absolutely fine but mobile app needs improvement such as email syncing. I see I have unread email but when I open the app it doesn’t appear until at least 10 seconds later on 5G or fibre internet. Opening mail can take several seconds to load. App stutters when navigating. Running on iPhone 15 pro max.
