ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

I developed insomnia during peri menopause (as well as developing a histamine intolerance) and my life changed dramatically for the worse. Some nights, I’d lie there all night without a wink of sleep. I had sleeping tablets from my GP but only a few and I didn’t want to become reliant on them. I was becoming very depressed with awful low mood. An ad for this app popped up on my socials so I downloaded it more than anything because I was desperate. I was a little cynical before starting the Insomnia course but felt a little better even after day one. I’ve just completed my first 30 day insomnia course and my life (and sleep) have been completely transformed. I no longer ‘fear’ going to bed and after around two weeks into the course was sleeping for at least seven hours a night without the help of tablets. I sleep better than I ever did now. The meditations are short enough to fit into your daily routine. However, it’s the content of the meditations that really help, not the length of them. They really help you to see your insomnia as something to ‘welcome’ rather than fear and that in itself helps your mind to retrain how it thinks about sleep. I can’t recommend this app enough. Thank you so much for developing it!

Highly recommended!

I get problems with insomnia every spring and this year has been particularly bad, with it lasting for several months. The prescription sleeping pills I got from the doctor made me feel very unwell and weak, and after using them for a week I was awake all night again. So I started listening to the Sleep Book and then signed up for the app, as I was completely exhausted and my life was grinding to a fault with every waking hour spent feeling desperate for sleep. The app is excellent! I started sleeping more from day one. I love that it is explained how the brain works and how you can help it to once again feel safe at night. I am thrilled that I have now started bed sharing with my husband again and I no longer fear sleepless nights, because I know how to rest and still feel refreshed the next day. That is so empowering and I gradually feel like I’m returning to being a normal sleeper again. With the tools in this course I hope that I will be able to respond in a more helpful way when my insomnia no doubt returns next spring. I highly recommend this course!

An insomniac’s must-have app...(if you no longer want to be an insomniac!)

Thank you for creating this app.

After the birth of my first child nearly 15 yrs ago, I became an insomniac and at best got 6 hrs sleep a night and at worst, hardly a wink. Until now...

Over the years, I have tried pretty much every sleep aid, from lavender sprays, meditation, yoga, kinesiology, weighted blanket...I could go on! I almost lost hope that I would ever sleep well again. Luckily though, a friend recommended this app to me and I started this sleep school course app 3 weeks ago.

It has totally transformed my relationship with sleep. Since day 3 of starting the app, I have had 7+ hours sleep. In fact, rather than knowing how much sleep I have or haven’t had, upon getting out of bed, I know that I’ve slept well and have no real idea of exactly how much sleep I’ve had - I’m no longer counting the hours!! (Well, apart from just now!)

This app is most definitely worth its weight in gold - and of course, I wish I’d found it years ago...

I slept better from day 1 but by day 3 of the course, I was sleeping like a ‘normal’ person. I can no longer call myself an insomniac, I’m now a sleeper!
