Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your App Store account when you confirm the initial subscription purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. When it comes to getting the most out of your sleep, a tracker that can tell you much more than how many hours you’ve snoozed goes a long way. Rise does just that. It helps you understand how your activities impact your sleep health, and it focuses on sleep debt to help you close the gap between the sleep you need and the sleep you get.

Great but one suggestion

App is great and works well connected to Apple Health/Garmin Connect. Syncs instantly and insights are good - what I feel dip-wise is mirrored by the app in time as well as productivity times.
The only suggestion I would give, and it is a big one for me as it would determine if I actually subscribe or not, is about work hours. It would be better to include work hours so the suggestions about bed time and relax window are more accurate. As an example, my bed time is determined to be 1am by the app. Unfortunately, I work until 2am and by the time I hit the bed, I’m past my window. The wind down window is around midnight, which is still in the “middle” of my shift and I cannot get any downtime. It does sync with my body clock, so it is accurate, but unfortunately I have to push past this everyday so those windows are not relevant to me. So if there was a way to include those sleep calculations around a shift work, and have an updated estimate of bedtime and wind down window and wake up time, it would be 5 stars for me. Granted, it might not be the direction you want the app to go. But just putting it out there :) Thanks for a great app!

Used to be amazing but now broken

I was very impressed by this app when I first got it. It served as great indication of when I might experience a dip in my energy during the day and really helped me focus on my bad sleeping habits.
However, all this changed with Apple’s most recent iOS update. Since the upgrade to iOS 16 and the addition of the Apple Watch’s ability to track sleep phases, this app has started tracking time awake during the night as time asleep. As someone who wakes up constantly during the night (think probably 10+ times), this severely impacts the accuracy of the measurements and the resulting energy ups and downs during the day. The app also doesn’t calculate any time asleep after my phone’s daily waking alarm (say if you decide to go back to bed for 2 hours after you blindly turn the alarm off) and has never autonomously recognised a nap yet. As a result, the energy level indicators are more of a gimmick at this point, which is really disappointing, considering I felt they were pretty accurate at the beginning.
It is also somewhat frustrating that you cannot access the various energy level predictions from previous days, but can only see the current day’s predictions. It feels like a missing functionality that should be there for comparison purposes and to track progress.
I’m disappointed that a subscription based app with so much advertising put into it suddenly is experiencing so many issues and there have been no updates to address them yet.
