Great meditation practices but ‘streak’ not working

I love this app so far - a really broad range of meditations all categorised by their purpose (aid sleep, manage stress, thrive etc). This makes it easy to use and select fresh practices but the meditation itself remains very true to the ethos - it’s all about bringing back awareness and calming an overthinking mind. BUT the streak function is not working for me: I’ve used the app 4 days in a row to meditate but my streak is showing as 0. This is just a little motivational tool and I’d really like it to work.

Started well, then collapsed

Initially was really pleased to find a free, simple meditation app, but things quickly got frustrating. After a couple of weeks, the app routinely signed me out and I had to keep entering and saving new passwords until in the end I could t remember them and the very act of accessing the app was fraught and so defeating the object. It seems quite glitchy after an initial period of finding voices on the app not annoying- it was all just nicely low key and there was none of this weird lack of speaking ability you get on some other high profile apps. Sad to part company with this, but it’s become too faffy to access, often late at night when I’m trying to sleep. All it says is ‘your session has expired’ when I’ve only just signed in, plus the swirl of doom appears and nothing loads once signed in, which is the their problem. Plus, during meditations I found the recordings randomly stop. I removed anything which might be overloading my phone and still the app didn’t work. It could be really good if these problems were sorted out. I liked the lay-out and the subject areas and types of meditation-use being laid out so I hope they manage to fix them.

EDIT: A fix has been rolled out for this issue and you should not be logged out of the app at random anymore. Please contact if the issue persists.

Too complicated and annoying

If you wanted to create the most complicated, confusing, annoying and user-unfriendly mindfulness app, this would be it! There are too many interfaces and courses to navigate for this to be helpful. You don’t have the option of just doing a simple 10 or 15 minute meditation if you want to which makes it impossible to be consistent. There is way too much talking during each recording. I am a complete beginner and even I felt like basically every session was filled with 50% rambling about ‘the mind is a thought machine, thinking is what it does!’, which makes it impossible to focus and actually practice mindfulness. When I tried to do one of the extended meditations I couldn’t finish it because for what seemed like 5 minutes the guy wouldn’t shut up about bubbles. Shame as this is one of few mindfulness apps that a free.

The app is designed to teach beginners about the science behind mindfulness meditation as well as practice it. We also have many meditations designed for children that use things like bubbles to teach about mindfulness.
