Excellent

Really fun to pass the time and enjoy making your own music. The only problem is how many times it’s crashed on me, if it ran smoothly then I would have given it 5 stars. If there was a way to make notes longer I feel like that would help and I would have given another star on that basis, so in general, brilliant app, deffo worth having a go and making a cool little tune!

Amazing miniature app

I love this app and all it can do, but I feel it could be a bigger beast entirely from a few pointers listed below:

1. As I have purchased this app, do I get commercial rights to make money from any music I create?

2. While all of the individual sets of sounds work well within their own set, it would be great if there was another field of entry that encompasses all of the sounds from each of the individual blocks into one, so that users could pick sounds from any of the sets to make even more original music.

3. Give users an option to hold their finger on a placed note to bring up an extended menu. In this menu, give users the ability to change parameters such as pitch, pan, and even velocity.

4. Allow users to overlap sounds on the same note block, because that is not an option right now. When I try to overlay a sound from an instrument on to another, it just doesn’t allow for it to happen.

5. Gives music creators an option to download the sounds from some place so they can use them in their own DAW.

6. Give users a proper tempo bar rather than three individual speeds.

Aside from that, I love this app and will continue to use it regardless!

Thanks so much!!! To answer question #1 yes, use the music in anyway you want! For the others, yes I agree all these features would be awesome enhancements. We decided to strip out most of the features to keep the app size small, if it were any larger a user would have to connect to wifi to download the app, this greatly decreases downloads. In the future though, who knows, there might be a SoundForest 2...

Casual and great.

Love it. Really easy to use and fun to play with. Well worth the £2 to get everything. If a sequel is developed (SoundForest 2.0/pro) with features like longer tracks, something like adding layers of songs for more variety, (idk the terms im a novice who really likes the app) some way of maybe chaining two of the same notes together to let a note last longer (put them down and drag them together with 2 fingers. Could maybe make a nest/herd/forest :3) and ways of saving audio id absolutely pay 5 or maybe even 10 quid for it. N keep this as the free version to get people into it :) i really love the app and i hope to see more from you
